Nice spot on the water and service was great! However I was disappointed by the food. Ordered conch fritters which were the best part. They had plenty of conch, they were tender and not greasy! The spinach salad was large leaf with lots of stems with red onion rings that were big plus what tasted like pre cooked packed bacon. I also ordered the tuna poke bowl. I have had quite a few before and this one by far was the worst. No flavor. Tuna over very coconut rice. The cocktails very good.
This place is now the Sebastian Saltwater Marina Restaurant. It is fantastic! The service is friendly and impeccable! The food is great! Everything cooked to perfection! Try to save room for desert because their key lime pie is out of this world. Highly recommend if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.
THIS IS NO LONGER CAPT BUTCHERS. It is Sebastian Saltwater Restaurant. The food was delicious, drinks (we just had beer ) were good and of course it’s hot AF in December we still sat outside. The only reason for no 5 stars across the board is I tried to use a gift card ( capt Butchers gift card ) and my dog literally chewed on it ???? you could read all the numbers but they wouldn’t take it ($50) so I asked the waitress to toss it and that’s just $50 down the toilet

Great place to arrive by land or water, outside eating area was terrific. Food and service exceeded expectations.
It was an amazing day to have dinner at a restaurant overlooking the river, and Saltwater Grill (formerly Butcher's) is one of favorite places to do just that. Their Islemorada Chicken sandwich is my favorite dish, and never disappoints. Good food, great service, reasonable prices, and outdoor dining at it's best. Who can ask for anything better!
This is a nice restaurant in Sebastian on the Indian River with inside and outside seating with a view of the water. It also has an inside and outside bar but the only negative thing about the outside bar is they allow smoking and if you are a non smoker you might not want to sit there. The food was great and average priced except for certain dinners which were a little high for no more than what you get with them. The menu was good with a wide selection and the service good also but I noticed the waitress had to hustle to keep up with the crowd. Will definitely go back and try them again.
Pork Plantains for appetizers was a home run ,with a wonderful dish of Mahi . Key lime pie for dessert , scrumptious .
