I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich it was just not a good sandwich at all. I felt the portion sizes were kind of small for the price and it just didn’t taste well. It was kind of Millie if you can put that to words where I actually ate about half of it, and I just tossed the rest of the other half which is really unusual for me, the lady making it was fantastic but you know the kid at the cash register Was visibly agitated that had to pay my bill like I took him away from something in the back that was more important than paying the bill but I’ll never come back to this place again matter fact, I don’t think I ever go to another Capriotti again,
*Edited: 5/2024. Zero stars again. Thought I would give them another try and again I have a bread and lettuce sandwich. Where's the meat? Save your money, go to Marrones Deli! Way better food and prices!!!!!
Zero stars again. Thought I would give new management a chance but again got a lettuce and bread sub. Very disappointed. Don't eat here unless you want a lettuce sub!!!!!
$60 on 4 subs. My 1 Italian, think they just made me a lettuce sandwich. Very disappointed, where's the meat?
I did call and the supervisor said they would refund me for the sandwich. Iunfortunately, they ruined the craving for a sub. Won't eat here again ????
The Bobby is their signature sub. It is a Thanksgiving dinner on a roll. It comes with cranberry sauce on the side if you like. There are at least 2 locations I know of. They do have Wagu subs also, which are very good. I highly recommend.
Look I don’t like being a Karen at all because i hate those type of people.
It was terrible. Looked like it was pre made. Tried to call and explain situation so no one else has to deal with the situation but they the phone off the hook and made it a busy signal. The Italian Hoagie with EXTRA meat had less meat then the original sandwich. The Italian sandwich tasted like wet lettuce. The cheesteak was so bland that i needed to add more ketchup to make it seem taste decent. My dog could make a better sandwich. Whoever owns this place should shut it down immediately. I do not recommend this place at all.
The capastrami was out of this world. The flavor was fantastic. The fries are some of the best I've ever had.
Ordered 3 cheesesteaks and 2 out of three were burnt to a crisp. Tried to call them about it but kept getting a busy signal. Drove down the store just before closing and the door was locked. They try to ignore my presence but I kept knocking on the window until they came to the door. Showed them the Cheesesteaks. They did not even argue but told me they could reimburse me since I used DoorDash to order them on line. By the way, I also saw a dog walking around the restaurant which I am pretty sure is a health code violation. I will never go back there again.
Growing up in Wilmington De I must say that this location has gone downhill. They changed the vendor for their rolls, which isn’t horrible, but recently got an Italian sub which had so little meat, we had to look to make sure there was meat. It is a shame that the quality has strayed so far from the original Capriotti locations. It seems like they just don’t take pride in their sandwiches anymore. Will have to find an alternative. So sad.
Called in, ordered a cheesesteak. Was given a chicken cheesesteak (pictured). Called back, was told I ordered a chicken cheesesteak. I didn’t. Offered to make me the right thing but whoever was taking the order, was unable to keep it straight. Even on the second order, when reading it back got it wrong. Lost my appetite
