Tried out Cappy’s for the first time since moving to the neighborhood and highly enjoyed it! Pizzas are a good size and that cheese bread was my absolute favorite! We went during the week so it was very easy to get seated and served. Also has a lot of beer options for those that partake!
Pretty good Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. The sauce was a bit more robust than I'm used to but the crust and toppings were delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Pathetic excuse for Chicago style deep dish pizza. I didn’t try the New York style, and I never will. The crust has a horrendous after taste. The ingredients are on par with chuckee cheese and that’s probably being generous. I ordered delivery and they didn’t cut the pizza. I had to cut the large deep dish pizza myself. Do not go here, just go to santoros or eddy and Sam’s if you want good pizza in tampa. I am so upset that I wasted calories on that slice of filth.
I ordered once I got there. I was quoted 20-25 minutes. I also had a small(which wasn’t small at all lol) Greek salad! My order was ready by the time I finished it.
First time having a deep dish Cappy pizza! I really enjoyed the flavor.
My kids ordered the pepperoni and pineapple and as you can see it was gone as soon as it hit the table.
My next order, I would request to have the sauce on the side for the deep dish, it was a little too spicy for me.
We enjoy coming to eat pizzas at this place, they offer you 2 styles of pizza (we tried both) the sauce is very tasty and you will have a lot of cheese on your pizzas (a lot of cheese!). I really liked the retro decoration and the old slot machines were a special discovery for my 11 year old son, and to think that they work very well! Excellent attention from the host, we will definitely return soon.
I have been a fan of Cappys Pizza for years ! Their Chicago Style pizza is my local favorite, nothing else like it in town !
Great beer and seltzer/cider options . The atmosphere is like walking back into my childhood with all of the interesting decor to explore .
Also, Kevin & Marty are fantastic, not only as small business owners in our community but as friends of other small businesses in our community . If you've never been, it's a must check out. You will not be disappointed!
Bad actitud waitress. Made mistake on order. Flavorless pizza. Won't come back. Won't recommend it.
