Deb was super nice, the owner came out and greeted us, Customer Service was great, the atmosphere was peaceful and the food was amazing. Let me just say, the sandwich was bigger than my head. ???? The chocolate cake was amazing and the mozzarella sticks were huge and not to cheese with the right amount of breading. It was a wonderful lunch kick it spot. Would definitely come here again, highly recommend this place!!10/10.
Not a fan of the spaghetti sauce but the meatballs were delicious ????.
Stopped in solely for the breaded pork tenderloin. It's a good cut of meat! No factory fritter stuff there. It's a nice pork loin, butterflied, tenderized, breaded and fried. About as simple (and delicious) as you can get! $9 out the door with chips and a cup of water. Bartender was sweet and friendly. Service was quick. Looks like a great local joint!
This is an old place, with a lot of history and has never been updated. It will take you back in time and the average customer is definitely on social security! But the food is all made there and it really was excellent. Prices are low and the service is pretty good. I will go back.
This was our first visit. Debbie (our waitress) was fantastic! The food came very quickly. The salad was very fresh and the fish was very well prepared, not greasy at all. The chicken was juicy and not dry at all. Atmosphere was very friendly with what seemed to be several "regulars" which also made us feel welcomed. We'll be returning soon.

Good food, and very reasonable prices. Waitstaff are super friendly and even remembered us on only our 2nd visit. Good place for lunch.
Great little spot. Small, but inviting. They were very busy, so service was a little slow, and our server forgot a couple of items, but we were not in a hurry, and we knew she was super busy. We both had cheeseburgers, and they were amazing! We would definitely stop in again when in the area! If this review has helped, give it a thumbs up!
Tried this place for the first time on 3/2/2024 and was not impressed.
Upon entering, no one welcomed us and told us to sit anywhere. We just walked around aimlessly until finding a table. Once our waitress, who was very nice, greeted us and got our drinks, she got the wrong pop for me. Once corrected, we never got refills. Food was also not very good. I wanted the walleye sandwich, but got the dinner interested. Fries were bland and tasteless and the walleye was bland and greasy. Salad was basically a head of lettuce, 1 tomato slice, 1 cucumber slice, and some cheese. The cottage was good. When the check came, there was a charge for 2 pops, but that was quickly fixed.
