Main attraction of Madison. Has access to the top of the capitol building to view the whole of Madison. There are tours available within the capital but just check with their schedule.
There is beautiful architecture within the building. However there are times allocated for when it is open to the public.
The capital square is also famous for the farmers markets that happen on weekends the some events like live on king street and other events just check online for what’s happening.
There are food trucks that are around the capital square in the day for people. Especially on Fridays they are also by the memorial library.

Very beautiful and huge place! The capitol is full of majesty and history of Wisconsin. Mosaics and marble columns are impressive. If you climb to the viewing area (terrace) you can see a large part of Madison. It's very beautiful!
Even as Madison has grown it has maintained a comfortable atmosphere. Yes, prices are much higher than a few years ago, but sadly, that is the way of such things.
