Recently, I had a chance to visit this station. It is well maintained, clean, and safe. However, I had some complaints about the elevators since they smelt bad due to cigarette smoke. I am grateful for the beauty and safety of this station. I hope Seattle city will pay more attention to its metro system so people can commute easily, efficiently, and quickly via light rails
Service is quick. Convenient. Needs a little more cleaning. There is always security and it is safe! Elevators have a bad smell, other than that everything is great!
If I could give zero stars I would. Most unreliable and terrible mode if transportation I have had over the last 5 years I have lived here. Never on time and never safe. How could you trust something so u reliable to take you to work or to take you to your friends. Needs major updates before I try and use it again.
Sound transit light rail has been in operation since 2016. They still haven't got their notification screens working. How do they stop the trains colliding if they don't know when they will arrive? Absolutely terrible.
Decent train station. There are escalators going up and I believe I have seen elevators which will make it easy to carry luggage. There are proper directions everywhere.
There is a tram station and a bus station right outside the light rail station.
Never had an issue here.
Security issues have gotten better recently (past two months) but are still an issue.
Please figure out the elevator/escalator issue. I feel like my tax dollars are being wasted on things that never work properly
Central to Capital Hill, it is clean and airy, brightly lit with lots of transit security walking around, no benches to sit on if your waiting for the train and need a rest, but that makes the homeless use the bus stops instead. Escalators and elevators always working when I am there, but not a lot of machines to get tickets or refill cards if your behind out of towners trying to figure out how to use them. 4 stars because of the sterile atmosphere, it just lacks charisma or charm
This stop is conveniently located near the heart of Capitol Hill, a prominent neighborhood in Seattle. From there, it is walkable to most, if not all of the major establishments in the neighborhood.
One of my motives for preferring this stop is the fact that it's a straight shot to the airport (circa 40-45 minutes). Not only does it save you time, but money as well. Rideshare companies have been making rides to the airport increasingly more expensive as of late.
Side note- Since the pandemic started (March 2020), the trains have come less frequently, which can be a nuisance for those needing to be somewhere within a certain timeframe.
