My 2nd visit to Cap City. We made reservations earlier in the day. The host was very pleasant greeting us. We did not order appetizers/ starters but we did receive the dinner rolls before the meal. They looked fabulous but the taste did not quite match. Don't get me wrong they were light and fluffy but I expected fabulous by the look, see picture. My husband and I shared our meals, switching half way through the dinner. We had the meatloaf and fried chicken, both were great. The green beans sprinkled with pecans were awesome. Definitely a nice restaurant, meal and good price point. We would visit again when we are in town.
Chose to eat at Cap City when we did a weekend getaway to Dublin. We are so happy we did. I had a Margarita which was amazing and I am very picky about my Margs. For my main course I ordered the walleye and my husband ordered the spicy shrimp pasta. Both were so good. The walleye was cooked perfectly and there was no fishy taste like you get at other places. The spicy shrimp pasta was excellent and the homemade pasta noodles made the dish. We then finished our meal with the huge piece of the chocolate cake. Wait staff was very friendly and kept our drinks coming. We cannot wait to go back and we highly recommend. Only set back was a long wait but it was well worth it.
Everything was fabulous. Try the strawberry rhubarb drink, it’s so unique! As always for CM restaurants, they are extremely attentive with allergies and I was able to eat safely! Lovely place to go on NYE. The server wasn’t as friendly as some usually are, however.

I had dinner tonight with my friends, beautiful place, good food and great service. Food presention was great and ambience was beautiful. We really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this place to visit and explore if you visit Columbus Ohio.
Cap City is one of our favorite restaurants in Columbus. We have been to Grandview, Dublin, and Gahanna. All of them are great and we always enjoy our time at the bar. If someone is visiting the city, this is a good option of where to take them. If you can’t decide where to eat or don’t want to risk trying something new you might not like, don’t hesitate to eat here. We had a bad experience at a new restaurant and the day after we were not feeling adventurous, so we decided to go to Cap City and we got our joy back! We enjoyed a craft beer, nice Margarita and Café Martini, amazing chili and salad, and our favorite item in the menu: the meatloaf. My husband doesn’t like meatloaf, but he dies for Cap City meatloaf! We also ordered the Saturday special: Crab Cakes, and so far these are my favorite in Columbus! Everyday there is a special dish; we are committed to try all of them eventually. We highly recommend Cap City for brunch, lunch, dinner, or just drinks and appetizers. Everything we have tried is delicious. Enjoy! ✨
Such a fun restaurant yet it's still classy and hip! My 2nd time here while I was in town. I got the classic meatloaf dinner and it blew me away. This is the only time I've ever ordered meatloaf in a restaurant and it was so yummy. We also shared some desserts, all of which were delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Also recommend the draft margarita!!
I am always looking to help a few friends who have Celiac. They have a huge selection for GF menu items. Mind you most places charge extra on a GF menu. Cap City does not do this practice of price gouging/inflation for a food allergie. The kitchen(s) are also separated so there will not be cross contamination.
