The Hallandale location has terribly slow customer service, everything takes forever, The drive through is a disaster in the morning I have literally sat in my car for more than 30 minutes for a cafe con leche and tostada. And if you go inside it is no better this morning I walked in and after waiting for the lady at the counter to take the order of the guest in front which was a large order no one thought of asking me how they can get my order going to facilitate expediting it. Mind you in the morning on a weekday people are typically in more of a hurry due to going to work so today I just ended up leaving. The wait was ridiculous
I ordered last night and one pastry was incorrect which I could live with, but the eggs were discolored. I was so disgusted and I was sharing my sandwhich with someone that already took a few bites. I gave 2 stars because the pastries are always good but I can’t believe this made it out the kitchen because I saw this as soon as I opened the bread. I placed the proper colored portion by the discolored part for reference
It was an UberEats Takout on October 14, 2023. All 9 Guava Pastelitos were unacceptable. The flaky pastry didn't rise / the layers didn't open. For the owner: fire the baker and manager who allowed this garbage to go out. These people will kill your business. The receipt is attached.
I’ve been visiting this certain location since it first opened and coming to decide to try out a different location. Overall, I never leave happy because of the service. This location does get busy at times, but it appears they can’t handle the busyness or need more workers to feel less stressed. The handful of times I’ve done the drive through, I always feel rushed to order and it wouldn’t be a delightful encounter, even on mornings when it isn’t busy.
During the week I felt rushed while ordering at the drive through. This past weekend I encountered a different girl and she was nice. But I was missing a handful of items that I had to drive back and walk inside to get. Today I decided to do online order because I’ve gotten tired of the customer service at the drive through. The order was correct, but I ordered two separate media noches with different modifications and they put it in the same bag. So now I have to open up the sandwiches to determine which one has the different modifications.
If i had too choose about coming here I honestly would not. It is so loud in here and there is honestly not enough dinning space. Also the staff needs more English speakers. There was five in my party and she completely forgot an order and we had too pay for the stuff that was originally her fault to begin with. The food to me honestly is nothing to go crazy over sometimes its good and sometimes it's average. I do think some things are over priced as well. If you are a non Spanish speaking person I would say maybe read the menu online for translation and more English descriptions as well.
This place is terrible. DON'T even try to get a decent breakfast because you won't get it from them. On top of that the drive thru lady is extremely rude and has attitude. Food is never fresh and they charge you as fresh food.
This place is phenomenal! When you try to order through the drive-thru window, you are greeted with: no hablo. Fine.... But apparently my 'uno beef pastelito' that was later corrected to 'uno carne pastelito' wasn't good enough and I got the silent treatment... I did say hello multiple times but I guess that got Lost in translation as well. Maybe she went to get help? But there was no 'uno momento' or anything similar said to me...the place was empty so nope, can't blame it on that. She just plain didn't care and 'hung up' on mee. Too bad because when I did manage to get service a couple of weeks ago, the empanadas I tried were quite tasty... But I will most definitely not be making any more attempts... Lots of other tasty, reasonably priced places around that at least make an attempt to understand you... Especially when you try to speak THEIR language. Whoever manages this location, maybe have a chat with your staff? Apparently I'm not the only one having this problem..and I get it if this was Hialeah but the only thing similar about the cities is the H they start with. This location will not last long if people can't communicate or if the employees just don't give a damn (as was clearly the case).
This is a good place to grab a quick bite. Coffee is great and good customer service. The breakfast sandwich was great.
