Best WLM Reviews

The dining experience was all around very good. The service was great. The food was very delicious and the menu was creative and the presentation was very good. It's hard to believe Cantina Laredo is a chain restaurant. The drinks were very well made and very satisfying.
Awesome Mexican restaurant! Really nice staff. Table side guacamole. Very good food. Smoking apple pie dessert was very tasty. Great place. Very clean. Loved it. Here with daughter’s tournament and the whole experience was great.
What a wonderful restaurant! We had a friendly greeting at the door, the restaurant had pleasing decor, and Jasmine took great care of us!! I tried a dish that was new to me, and it was delicious. My dinner date enjoyed the fajitas ... which were served as they should be - sizzling. Kudos, Catina Laredo!!
Food was amazing! Spicy Salsa was warm and so right with the chips. Tacos were phenomenal, and the apple pie dessert was as tasty as the performance building it at our table!
1/8/24 - I visited here again with my bestie for my bday. We went ahead and just sat at the bar. The bar tender was super nice and great service. He heard it was my bday and got me a brownie cake. My friend didn't even ask him to do that. We got the Pineapple Mojito Sangria and it was soo good.
3/22/23 - Went here on a Monday night. The place is very inviting and open. It is very well lit with lots of lighting. We got to sit right next to the balcony window. The food was reasonably priced and refreshing. It didn't taste like those food chain restaurants. The chips and salsa comes with mild and hot. Both were really good but I ate the mild the most because I don't do spicy too much. I got carne tacos for my meal and they were super delicious. It comes with rice and beans. I also got a mojito and a margarita for my drink. I would definitely see if they have any drink specials too. We first just ordered and found they had $5 margaritas after. Majority of us got a specialty drink but still would have been nice to know. The bartender/server did hook us up and we got a larger cup the second round for our $5 margaritas. My fiancé got carne asada for this meal. My fiancé never liked sauces but he really loved the chimichurri sauce on it. His sister and boyfriend also got the same meal. They both mentioned parts of their rice having hard pieces in it. We weren't sure if it was supposed to be like that or not. His sister also got a strawberry frozen margarita and it was super strong but good. I would recommend trying this food out and seeing the scenery/décor. Server was also super great!
Upscale Mexican place, but prices are reasonable. Entrance is a bit tricky; there's an elevator and steps that lead to the entrance. Drinks are on the smallish side, and those are pricey, but the place is located in Town Center, so they have to pay the rent somehow. Food portion is a pretty good size for $18.00. I ordered the Acapulco combo: tamale, beef enchilada, chicken enchilada, and a hardshell beef taco, with beans and rice. Service was friendly and efficient. Ellis was the bartender.
Tried this place on another effort to find good Mexican food but again, unsuccessful. The food is American (light on flavor and seasoning) with Spanish named dishes.
I tried the Tacos Pescados. The menu read: Corn tortillas with sautéed Mahi Mahi, monterey jack, cilantro, chipotle aioli, Veracruz vegetables, mango-pineapple pico de gallo, roasted red pepper and queso fresco.
I requested no cilantro, got lots of sauce, a tiny piece of unseasoned fish and a few red peppers sprinkled on an uncooked MINI corn tortilla. My tortilla chip was bigger than my taco.
The margaritas (the flight and grilled peach) were full of ice and sooooo sweet, we didn't bother to order more. Service was good enough. Can't find a reason to want to return.
The food and drinks are great and they have a nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. The servers that have assisted me have all been awesome!! I did attempt to sit at the bar a couple times but both experiences have been poor. Other than that, this is a great addition to the town center area.
