Wow! Oxtail fell off the bone, were seasoned perfectly and went great with the rice and peas. Portion size was respectable unlike some of these other places. Also ordered the red snapper with cabbage and plantains. Snapper was fried to perfection and again I couldn’t complain about the generous serving sizes. Will absolutely be ordering again. My 1st time at this restaurant. The items I wanted it did not have available such as yams, greens, etc. This was at 3:00p.m.-3:15 p.m. and they are already out of food items.? The only reason I gave it 3 stars was due to the kindness of the lady taking orders. Hopefully there will be improvement, since I'm told it just opened. I received my order by 3:45 p.m. I will let you know how the food taste, later.
Purchased salmon dinner with rice & beans and Mac & cheese. And added a piece of catfish. Everything was good but OMG the flavor of the salmon was absolutely delicious. Owner/chef is such a nice guy. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed
came here late almost midnight. Had my son in the car so I couldn’t get out they was nice enough to bring it out to my car. I ate it when I got home, Catfish was so juicy and perfectly seasoned so was the cabbage and rice. Food was fresh like I was there waiting in a line for it to open.LOL. Love it I’ll be there again for this exact same meal I almost wanna go at the same exact time lol :)
I seen this place, said I was going to eat there. I called to see if you could order ahead. I was told that I needed to come in. I went placed my order, the guy was looking at me very closely. I left came back got my food. Now when I got the food it was around 8pm. I get home fed the family, Now around 11pm I get a call from the guy that made my food at the restaurant, Asking if I liked it? I find that unprofessional. But when we called back he made it seem as if I called him. I don't know if this happens to other patrons, or if this was policy but I did not appreciate it.
Just got my order tho I placed it at 725pm anywho chicken was really really spicy I like it but they could bring down the spice sum. Cabbage was good the Mac tho.... No no no I know that they knew that Mac was to dang on dry. I understand you wanna make your money but please give the customers your best. So that they'll want to come bk for me I'll pass...
At first I order this place for delivery but after waiting for two and a half hours I cancelled it and just decided to go get this food for pickup. I totally regret ordering from here! This has to be one of the most DISGUSTING Jamaican food I have ate in a very long time! The macaroni had a weird taste to it, the red beans and rice was mushy and the bread was stale. Waste of time and money! The chicken was okay but it was just a little bit too dry for me!
Upon ordering my food I looked at the menu told the cashier what I would like she then told me that the price was different(up charge for the bbq jerk dinner) I said okay that's fine(10.00 to 10.50) I then told her what my two sides were, she informed me that they were out of this and out of that. I said okay. Getting frustrated I went ahead and ordered different sides, when it got time for me to pay she informed me that their credit card machine was down! so I had to walk across the street to the local corner store and get cash out of the ATM when I came back to pay for my food there was another young lady up front that took care of me when I went to give her the money she then quoted me a totally different price from what the 1st young lady told me. Instead of it being the 10.50 it now jumped up to 11.50!. Per dinner All because I wanted BBQ jerk instead of just regular jerk chicken.. Now the only reason I went ahead and payed for this meal is because I was starving! .. but this is not the end. .. They have a decent dessert menu. So I asked her "what all desserts do you have before I get my hopes all up." Out of ALL the items on their menu (6-8 items).... They only had 1 item on the menu! Smh! . When We got our food. As far as taste goes it was Okay.. nothing at all to brag about. .
