We ordered the big pretzel, dirty fries, and smokey nachos. This was very filling and enough food for all 4 of us. My young adult kids all loved the food! The pulled pork on the fries and the smokey cheese sauce they commented on numerous times how good they were!
Soft pretzel ???? is so good. The smoky brisket is also really good. We love the small nice space. It’s worth waiting for the table. Definitely eat there again.
Wow, definitely a hidden gem. When I say do not leave Cannon Beach without stopping here I mean it. Arguably some of the best BBQ food I’ve had. We got the loaded dirty fries, Brie grilled cheese and pulled brisket sandwich. The loaded fries were a total knockout!
Certainly the best barbecue I’ve had in a long time, everything was off the charts good. Wish they’d open up a place in PDX! Great selection at the bar too. Just need to get there early or be prepared to wait, because it’s small and limited seating.
This was our second trip to the Cannon Beach Smokehouse. We had the duck, Brie and pear board the first time - by far our favorite!!! Today the duck was sold out so we shared the smokehouse board. The brisket had a lot of fat in it so we picked around it. The actual meat had great flavor. The BBQ sauce is very good. Gold Rush cocktail is great, best on the menu!
If you’re thinking about grabbing a bite here, just do it. The brisket sandwich and the hot honey garlic smoked chicken wings were both EXCELLENT. We called in our order for take out and was told our meal would be ready in 25mins and they were on the dot. They do charge a very small fee for takeout and also include gratuity.
The food was phenomenal! The place is small but if you have to wait it is well worth the wait. We had the Dirty Fries and they were gone within minutes they were so good. The brisket was tender and the bread on the sandwiches was crispy which is hard to keep with a Reuben. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.
The smoked meat platter features house made pickles, sauerkraut, and a very mild coleslaw. Everything balanced really well, better than a lot of BBQ places I've visited.
