The service at Candy Bar was excellent! The bartenders were very attentive. The interior is unique and a fun vibe, with a great playlist that wasn't too loud so you could still chat! I recommend making a reservation as it is a very small bar. It did not appear to have a dress code. As good as the vibes were, the drinks weren't as tasty as I hoped; the There She Goes' key lime cordial overshadowed the rest of the ingredients, and the Out of Fashion didn't have a lot of depth with the strength of the tequila. Would go back for a date or special occasion.
Love this place! James & the other bar tender here tonight were attentive, professional & kind. Knowing there are people like them who are employed here, elevate the ambiance which the Siren hotel has curated perfectly. One of the many reasons why this is one of my favorite Detroit spots. Looking forward to my next return. Also, my Espresso martini was on point - 10/10.
Such a beautiful bar! The design was perfect. I think these were possibly the best cocktails I have had in my life. If you plan on going make reservations because it is very small inside. We got there and didn't have reservations but the host helped us make reservations and we got in about 30 minutes later.
Stunning gem of a bar. The art deco era decor in luscious pink creates a gorgeous, intimate space with booths, small tables, and a bar.
The cocktails are excellent—interesting, complex, and balanced, with a pleasing emphasis on being booze-forward. The bartenders excel in classics and on-the-spot customized creations inspired by your preferences.
While the host is warm and goes above and beyond in accommodating, some bartenders lack the same. Nevertheless, their talent compensates for any shortfall in demeanour.
I've been here twice and both times were so fun. I found the bartenders to be a delight. Our last bartender was knowledgeable about cocktails and made us things not on their menu. It is small but that's part of the charm. The lobby of the hotel is also a cool vibe so when people complain about sitting out there,I don't get it. I would only be annoyed being a hotel guest and NOT being able to sit in the lobby. The drinks aren't cheap but it's for sure a fun stop.
LOVE the atmosphere. My boyfriend and I enjoyed several delicious drinks, laughed and had a genuine good time. Staff is amazing. Helpful, energetic and they actually enjoy their job. Kudos to the business and the work put in. Fun that it’s inside a hotel!
Wow! Wow! And …. Upside down MOM- WOW! I work at a craft cocktail bar in Charleston sc… and this is way above and beyond impressive! I have alot to learn! ????…I’ve been to Detroit prior and missed the opportunity to visit this place bc of my time schedule. Finally!!! I was able to get in and wow… I’ve never seen a better cocktail menu from Vegas, Miami to NY!! My bar my most favorite cocktail bar EVER!!! Josh was beyond entertaining and impressive! Wish we lived in Michigan because we’d come here over and over for the cocktails and experience! We didn’t want to leave! Best bar in Detroit or any city I’ve ever visited ????????
Very pink bar with a great vibe to it. Really fun and friendly staff, and the cocktails were great too. Note that it has pretty limited seating, with maybe 8 seats at the bar with several booths and small tables. Cocktails came quickly and all had a unique taste!
