Busy on a Saturday morning but we were seated quickly and our food came out within 20 minutes. Delicious food. Some of the best pancakes we've had in a while. Great coffee too. Bathroom was clean. The dining area is very small so expect to make new friends.
Cramped and small diner. Food is OK. DO NOT order French Toast. It is bread in pancake batter. Not your expected egg battered goodness.
We are visitors camping in the Rio Grande NF and I wanted to eat out one morning for breakfast. We wanted to try a small town diner for breakfast instead of a fast food restaurant and found this place after a Google search. We absolutely loved eating here. Lots of seating and very busy with local residents. The waitress recommended the breakfast special which was a sausage patty, scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast for less than $6.00. The food was great, very tasty and hot, and the toast was a very large piece of bread that was equivalent to two slices. We will definitely be back.
Lovely diner with great service and amazing food! We hears about the "dinner plate sized" cinnamon roll so we split one order for 4 people. Definitely enough to share! Their homemade toast is delicious and everyone loved their entrees. We'll be back here if we're looking for breakfast in Alamosa.
This is so sad because the food was AMAZING, we got a cinnamon roll bigger than my head & it was so delicious, biscuits and gravy, and French toast! However our server was rude, she didn’t have a name tag so I didn’t catch it, she was young & very nice and soft spoken to the other tables tho. I’ve never experienced anything like this before so I was very conflicted with leaving a review, but my husband and I really enjoyed the food so I won’t let her ruin the review for the restaurant.
Service is terrible here. Everytime I ask for ketchup or Mayo, they never bring it.
I've had to end up getting up and going and getting it myself.
It takes forever to get waited on and
today we sat right in front of the cash register for 5 min. Never got waited on. Then some guy came in sat at the same long table we were at they waited on him brought him his drink and still ignored us.
We just walked out.
They were not that busy. I don't get it.
The Campus Café is a corner stone for the community. This small cafe has been in business since the 70’s and still going strong just like their coffe. The café is very modest with plenty of room for family and friends to gather on Sundays. Their serving are very generous and delicious.
My usual is the breakfast special 2 eggs home friend with green or red chili. Their staff is friendly and courteous. You must try their gigantic and tasty cinnamon roll!
I went in 2 different mornings, at opening time.
A few locals and a few to-go orders.
I wanted to try one of their Alamosa specials but they were out of the Alamosa sauce.
