Best WLM Reviews
Amazing, well-run restaurant that has great food and an even better vibe. We came in late Friday night looking for some good Mexican food to satisfy our hunger - and wow did it deliver. The food was great, and promptly delivered after we ordered fresh and hot. Our favorite part, though, had to be the ambiance. It is like no other. Oscar-worthy karaoke performances going on throughout by other people there, and it was truly some of the best I’ve heard. We even got to join in at the end to sing one! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine and a fun local restaurant to make you happy, look no further than Campeche Restaurant. I can’t recommend it enough.
We went to Campeche on a Friday night and got right in. We had an attentive server and got our food very quickly. We had the Family Margarita flight to share between two people-these were four 16oz glasses. These were strong and tasted great! We also shared the cheese dip and the nachos. We did spend about $70 which I believe was due to the margaritas. While a lot for two people, it was fun to try and I would go there again.
WOW! The service right from the beginning was just amazing. We had multiple waitresses check in with us throughout our experience and all of them were so nice and helpful. Our main waitress, Brittany, was kind and actually seemed to care for us as more than just people dining there. The food was exceptional, and it came out within 10 minutes of us ordering. I was actually shocked with how fast it came out & then how good it was! Overall this restaurant is one of the best in the area & people should definitely try it out.
Thank you for such an awesome experience for my husband and I!
UPDATE: the most recent time I went here I was actually quite disappointed. We were with a group of friends and went here for a late lunch and found out their weren’t serving alcohol at all that day. I didn’t mind this much but felt it was kind of a bummer since they used to have huge cheap margarita pitchers which I didn’t even see on the menu anymore. Not only that but prices shot WAY up. For a group of 8 ordering pretty basic dishes, and again, no alcohol, our bill was about $250. And we couldn’t split the bill. I was completely blown away by the bill. Quality of food wasn’t what I remembered either. I hope this was just a truly bad day for them and this isn’t what to expect if I come back.
OG: Love this spot for their chill patio seating. Great deal on their pitcher margarita and love that they serve complimentary chips and pico. Their queso is excellent as well. The chips that came with it were really fluffy and slightly sweet which we really liked. Their entrees are great and appreciate a more condensed menu with really good options and modifications. Rice and beans were not my favorite but everything else made up for it and I would absolutely come back!
The owner stayed open late for our large group a few years ago. We will always return. Food is fantastic and plentiful. Great drinks and very reasonable. I don't care who u are, you'll be happy you visited.
Stopped for dinner while staying in Galena this weekend and really enjoyed the stop. The chips and fresh salsa were very good My wife and I shared a Family Margarita Flight (see picture), which was a great value compared to the much smaller version for 2/3rds the cost. All flavors were delicious (Jalapeno, Pineapple, Watermelon & Mango) - and the Taijin on the rim made them even better!
For our meal, we shared an order of Fajitas (see pictures) and not only was it very good, but it was plenty of food for both of us. It was a bit pricey, but if you are selective in your choices it is manageable - and it all tastes great! If you like Mexican food, you'll want to stop here during your stay.

Fabulous little joint. Went there twice in 2 days on a trip to Galena. Food was delicious and fresh. The staff was wonderful and genuinely friendly. Atmosphere was comfortable and lively. We will totally be back. Thanks so much!
My husband i and headed here for dinner while visiting Galena. We thought the roof top area was great for the views.
We both enjoyed a flight of margaritas which was all delicious! While the queso left a lot to be desired (very thin and runny) the flour tortilla chips for it were very good! We enjoyed their taco special. Definitely chicken over beef was the favorite! Our server was named Savanna and she was wonderful!!! Definitely swing on by to this little gem around the corner, if you ever find yourself in Galena!
