If you follow me you know I almost never eat at a chain but we met in laws and they set it up. It was chain quality….. ok. As a pizza guy who has eaten some of the best pizza in the world this was kind of sad. Crust was cracker like. Cheese was ok. They try to do interesting toppings ( my in-law love the pineapple). My wife’s Thai salad was good.
The food was really good. The server was inattentive, and didn’t offer us refills, I eventually had to go get my own, I asked for the manager who was really nice and offered us a gift card which I declined, because it’s about the principle.
I was excited to try this place because it is one of the few that offers gluten free pizza. The gluten free bbq chicken pizza didn’t disappoint, it was delicious. We also got the one called “the works” and that one wasn’t great. Green peppers and some of the mushrooms on top seemed raw which you normally don’t find on a pizza.
We also weren’t served any complimentary bread.
My husband asked for some hot sauce and was told they didn’t have any, then he decided to ask another staff member and they said they had some Cholula, which was fine. They brought it out on a tiny plate already poured out which was weird and inconvenient considering we don’t wanna dip our pizza in the sauce but just wanted to have some on top.
Overall I wouldn’t rate CPK high but I’m giving them 4 stars because of the gluten free option.
So we wandered over to this place and are so glad we did! The moment we walked in the door at lunchtime on Sunday March 3, 2024 the hostesses at the front were pleasant and professional. It was a smooth interaction and we were treated like long lost friends even though we had never met them before. Then when our server Alex came over, he answered every question we had. Throughout the lunch we needed absolutely nothing. He was on top of it all, friendly, knowledgeable, and we left feeling like we should’ve paid 150 for the service, but it was only 30. Definitely a must go to place if you’re in the mall. We definitely will return
Our family loves California Pizza. We recommend the original BBQ pizza, a must try if this is your first time, we also like the artichoke dip and guacamole for appetizers.
My Hawaiian Pizza was AMAZING! BUT service wasn’t. Our waiter was sort of inappropriate. He never direct to my husband, not even when he was ordering his food. His eyes were over me all the time. Food was great but the experience not that much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Was just here yesterday. Terrible service, terrible reception. Host did not communicate with our table, passed up on refills and yet still had the audacity to tip himself more than what I had originally WRITTEN. Unfortunately I was too irresponsible to take the copy of my receipt thinking I wasn’t going to get taken advantage of. I was wrong. Never had a bad experience with CPK until now. To let these actions of dishonesty and disrespect go under would be a disgrace to your company. Caucasian male, young, brown hair and not so bright. Don’t know his name, don’t need to. Avoid him at all costs bc he’ll do the same to you after he seats you
Our waitress was very good. This location is inside the food court of the Millennium Mall. The food was bland to me. I had the shrimp & zucchini scampi. My husband had a pepperoni pizza which was very spicy ????. It was the first time we tasted pepperoni that spicy.
