My mother came to town for my 30th birthday and we stopped in to eat before the Shania Twain concert. It was incredibly dead when we walked in and were one of the only guests in the building. That being said, we waited several minutes to be sat and even longer for a server. Once she arrived, we already knew what we wanted and ordered the Family Feast with white rice as a side. When I tell you this was good, it's an understatement. We ordered the boil in mild cajun. Was not spicy and incredibly delicious. Mussels weren't super fishy/gamey. The crab legs were incredible, as were the shrimp. The potatoes and eggs were so good. I'll definitely be back. Service was a meh, but the food was divine. Would definitely recommend if in the area! ????
This place was great. We got a combo and added what we wanted to it. Dungeness crab, shrimp, clams, black mussels, corn, potatoes and the house blend of sauces at a mild pace of spice. It was pure heaven. The waitress was pretty dang good at remembering our order as she didn't write anything down, but she nailed that order down! (Ebony was her name ????????????) We were so impressed and will be back again soon!
Went to try out the Cajun Boil Bar
Strong drinks tasty food. Go one up on your normal heat level.
Great prices on Boil with build your own option. 1/2 pound shrimp 11$
Crab tots 8$
Catfish po boy 11$
A3 Boil 33$
Margaritas pitcher 20$
A great seafood restaurant with great atmosphere and reasonable price. Lunch special and happy hour were available but I came during the weekend.
One thing could be improved was their bland sauces. I ordered medium spicy garlic and signature sauces which tasted not spicy and garlicky at all. The only taste was a type of Cajun sour. Anyway, it is absolutely a great place to hangout or watching games due to their lovely decorations and vibe.
I was in town on business and wanted something that I could not get at home. I ordered take out and the food was hot and delicious. I ordered the shrimp basket and gator bites. The portion was just right! I went there twice during my stay. The price was very fair. I would go again!
Literally the WORST experience I have ever had dinning in somewhere- my friend and I are from Cincinnati and everytime we visit Columbus we try to come here for a seafood boil, we actually drove to the wrong place and still went out of our way to come here, We arrived and was seated by 8:30, an hour before closing time- we had a male server who took our drink and food order and he brought us our food and then he never showed up again. We had our food for MAYBE twenty minutes and the staff turns the entire restaurant lights off except one set of lights and the front lights. They had the bar lights off, all the chairs on top of tables, and had turned ALL OF THE MUSIC OFF. We looked at our watches and it was 9:12 PM. Which was BEFORE closing time (9:30PM). This male staff member just kept staring at us didn’t say a word, our checks were still never brought to us. We had to ask for our checks because we felt so awkward and rushed like we were literally being kicked out of the restaurant. We both had only eaten 1/2 of our 45$ seafood boil but was feeling forced to leave. My friend paid with card- and then I paid with cash and left it on the table. We both walked out and the lady who gave us our checks and the hostess (which should have been a security guard) got up and started quickly
walking towards us saying “ there was still another tab to pay. My friend and I both looked confused and said what?? They both said “there was a second tab you need to pay” I said I had left cash on the table and one lady barely apologized to us. This was the worst service I had ever experienced. I will never be back to this restaurant it was AWFUL. If I could give this experience 0 stars I would, I would have liked to spend my money anywhere else.
This was my first real seafood experience and it was amazing!! The food was delicious and our server Liz took the time to explain the menu to us and she was on point with it all! The price was not outrageous and everything was timely and delicious!! I will recommend it to everyone!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I've had plenty of Cajun seafood. Never have I had any with such little taste. There was so on my food. like, by no spice, I don't mean very little. I mean, it tasted like they didn't use any spices what so ever on my food. I ordered medium heat. I'll definitely not eat here again. 70$ and absolutely no flavor.
