Great food. Great service. Tater tots not so good. They were over cooked. Other than that. I will come back
Had my son go up and have drinks with his girlfriend and her sister, dad and sisters boyfriend and he ordered me a steak wrap and the waitress said you mean Philly he thought that was another name but showed her my text and the picture of the menu that said wrap she said he showed her nothing and everyone else said he walked back behind the bar and showed her the text… what I received was that didn’t happen and sorry kitchens closed or I could make you one…. Not kitchens closed come back tomorrow or another day and get your wrap!! How disappointing!! I like the wraps the subs are to much for me!! Food went in the garbage!! Food is excellent here and this is not usually what happens if a mistake is made!! Hopefully she will learn how to handle it next time something like this happens!!
Went foe the first time and the service was fast and friendly. The food was pretty good. It was so filling my husband and I didn't even eat dinner that night!
First time dining in. Have had togo before. Service was awesome! Party of 8. Got burgers, wraps, and pizzas. Food from the kitchen came fast and was hot. Our server stopped by our table to check on us several times and kept our drinks topped off. Food was awesome! Definitely will go back again!
Going to Cafe Sports for 18 years. I just want to say now and then the ownership has tried to deliver the best possible service and food.Times have changed, but good service and food have always been their priority. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.
Re- You had an opportunity to fix the encounter and chose to charge full price for a meal that wasn't eaten. Your snarky comments back to myself and other patrons shows your ethic. LOL ???? best of luck to you in your new ownership
Came in because we used to come here in the years prior and get a great hand pattied burger. The place is under new ownership apparently and the pizza, burger and chicken are all out of a frozen bag. Whatever, we are used to going into a "restaurant" that serves food directly out of a Sysco truck but the burger was ordered well and got 3 bites into it and it was bright red. When the server/management came over she saw the issue and agreed it was nothing near how it had been ordered. She asked if we wanted another and obviously that wasn't going to make it better(it was a disgusting excuse for a burger, pre pattied and dripping in oil aside from coming out raw.) We waited to see if she would be honorable after clearing our table and taking FULL baskets of food back. She returned and handed us a fifty dollar bill with a full priced burger still on it. What a joke. Ps do your customers a favor and put the fake oil down for christ sake, everything was covered in it and it's nothing but an awful gut rot. Half of us left hungry and the other half were sick as hell ????
we just tried cafe sports for the first time in 20 years. we are disappointed with ourselves that we didnt try this decades sooner! The menu offers so many varied & appealing choices. The restaurant is easy to get to with plenty of parking, and easy to see from the road.
We didnt dine in, we did carryout so I cant review the cleanliness, interior or wait staff.
But the food was ready within the time specified, generous portion sizes, and all for just under $20.
Cafe Sports beats chain restaurants hands down!
The food was delicious! I got the loaded waffle fries. They are truly loaded with cheese, bacon & tomatos. Since we carried out, I asked for ranch & bbq on the side so they wouldnt be soggier than necessary-plus I like to control how much bbq goes on my food.
Hubbs got the Philly Steak sandwich with tater tots. He ranked the sandwich a 9 out of 10 for taste & tenderness. Very generous sized sandwich and same for tater tots.
Gotta go 5 stars for Cafe Sports bar restaurant. Service on a Tuesday night was spot on. Our waitress was friendly and great at serving us. I ordered a burger cooked medium rare and it was done perfectly. Sad to say, however, most bar and grills struggle to get that right. We ordered Ahi tuna appetizer (who would have thought they'd have that on the menu in Perry...lol.) The Ahi tuna was very good with great flavor. The building itself is certainly dated, although, very clean with a good vibe. Restrooms were also clean of which is something I'm picky about. We'll definitely be back at some point. Oh.. they even have a couple full size volleyball courts in the yard outside with outdoor seating.
