Best WLM Reviews
Best Cafe Rio I've been to. They don't skimp on the servings like so many others I've been to. The presentation is good, not a pile of stuff like some others. Customer service is also great. Very nice employees here. Just updated with a photo. Again, this place rocks!
This location is a joke. Ordered a bowl and the rice and meat were cold. The portions were a joke. The picture on the menu didn't show a half empty bowl. I paid 13$ for a half empty bowl. Should've went to chipotle were they actually fill it up. Y'all's location in layton is way better. Dont even bother coming to this rio.
Hello. I visited store 167 in Manhattan Beach, CA. this evening and I was really dissatisfied with the lack of service and portion of food I received. First, I stood there for several minutes and watch team members talking and laughing while looking at me waiting to be served. Then a lady gave the young man permission to take my order. I ordered the taco meal and I asked if the rice and beans could be placed on the side because I had far to travel. The young man assisting me only gave me a scoop of rice and a half scoop of beans. When I questioned him about it, he looked puzzled and then replied, “oh we only give you two scoops of each when you order the meal”. I told him that I did order the meal. He then switched it up and said the two scoops only pertained to side orders. For $14.01 I couldn’t get two scoops of rice and beans?! I told them that was ridiculous smh. I will not be patronizing that restaurant again.
The staff here was awesome and friendly despite the store being set up for contactless, they were attentive and friendly as I waited on my kiosk order. And very hard working.
Something about the food though just didn't taste as good as some of the better location in the area. Maybe I just got the odd batch of meat and that, it was okay, definitely not the worst, but had consistently better at the Riverdale and Farmington locations.
Would I eat food from here again sure? Would it be a spot I'd frequent. Maybe not.
Had never been to a Cafe Rio where they forced you to order at a kiosk. If you have dietary restrictions, good luck. No one is readily available to ask questions. The fast food workers are barricaded behind a metal wall type thing and act annoyed if you disturb them. They were supposed to call my name when my order was ready. I did not hear them and they did not bother to try and call my name again so my food was lukewarm when I got it. (Having never been there before, I did not realize there was an electronic screen you were supposed to look at to see your order's progress.) If you want a highly impersonal dining experience in a white antiseptic atmosphere (the decor looks like a hospital dining room) then this is the place for you. On top of all that, the food gave my husband and I digestive issues for a full day afterwards. We have eaten at other Cafe Rio restaurants and had good experiences.
Cafe Rio is like a divine banquet. Each morsel is a heavenly melody of flavors that will make your taste buds sing with joy. The perfect blend of seasoned meats, fresh ingredients, and delicious sauces is like a gift from the culinary gods. It's a taste of paradise that will have you coming back for more, like a sacred offering from above!
Hardly any meat in the burrito. Burrito has only the chicken you see on the fork. This isn't the only time this has happened at this location. $15 for a bean and rice burrito. ????
Food is pretty good. I’ve noticed an inconsistency within ordering online. For example if I order shrimp coconut tacos sometimes I’ll get lettuce and cilantro toppings and sometimes it doesn’t come with those toppings. Either way there’s no option when ordering online or the app if you can “add” lettuce or cilantro because I AM SURE THOSE TOPPINGS ARE SUPPOSE TO COME WITH THE ENTREE ITSELF. There is only options to add extra toppings. Unless there’s something I don’t understand about the online ordering, this is an issue!
