This place is getting worse.. I have visited it in the past and the experience is always bad.. the staff always serve you with their bad attitude as if they gave you free food, the rice is hard, my burrito with two pieces of chicken from today won’t go there any more I prefer go to COSTA VIDA instead..!
I visited many times, many different locations... fist and last I visit this one. The portion size was disappointingly small, leaving us hungry and unsatisfied. We expected a more generous serving for the price we paid.

They gave us cups, no drinks
So they remembered we had drinks and didn’t bother filling them. I don’t even know what they thought we would do with them.. i already have cups
Cafe Rio is one of my favorite restaurants, and I have been to nearly a dozen of them in Utah. I have been to this one the most. I have eaten here at LEAST twice a month for the past 3 years (averaging around 70 times!) They have always been friendly and the place is always clean. They rarely get my food wrong either. This most recent time (tonight) I ordered food and forgot they were closing soon. I walked in 2 minutes before closing and felt really bad. They worked hard to fulfill my order and even when understandably short of a few ingredients, they made sure to make it up to me because they really cared! They are certainly human and not perfect, but have always worked hard to give me a great experience and great food!
The food is good. That’s it, that’s the only good thing.
As a delivery driver (nights) it’s an awful place. The employees will ignore and or not prioritize the delivery order, they will take care of the lobby first. They will refuse to give any sort of ETA so we could let the customer know. Had to watch 13 customer get their order while I waited for two bowls for a customer.
They only give you like 4 chips with the kids meal and they forget the beans or rice half the time. My least favorite cafe rio location by far, I would never go here if it wasn’t so close to my house.
CLOSE THIS CAFE RIO DOWN!!! It's been the worse experience every time. This one is 5 minutes away from house and I drive 25 minutes to another Cafe Rio to avoid this. Every time I go there is an issue.
First Visit: Asked for extra meat literally threw 3 pieces of steak and thought they could charge me and I told them that burrito has no extra meat don't charge me.
Second visit for friends birthday dinner: ordered online literally didn't get any of our pick up orders right. I guess I'm an idiot for spending money and expecting people to read the items I selected.
Most Recent Visit Pick Up : asked for enchilada style and cheese. There was barely any cheese to the point I had to add my own. Selected pinto beans and they gave me refried beans, asked for chicken and steak only gave me steak!!!
My family loves Cafe Rio but this robs you of your money and they don't care. AVOID JORDAN LANDING CAFE RIO. They need to close this one down let the other Cafe Rios in the valley represent them and let someone that cares about people and good food and let them open a new food establishment in this location so we don't have deal with this terrible service.
Terrible customer service/ communication skills.
Visited Friday, May 3rd after 9 pm. Cafe Rio closes at 11.
3 customs in front of me. Wait over 5 min for the employee to finish cleaning her work area/ Bs with her friend.
When ordering, could not hear/ understand what employee was saying.
Employee free meals were a higher priority, then the long line ( at this point) customer waiting to order.
