Best WLM Reviews
Stopped in 9/16/23, an early Saturday evening, based on a friend's recommendation (she said it was one of her top three places for Mediterranean). She lives nearby, we do not (but we will, and many times have, driven 30+ miles for food). Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose.
Cafe Mix was a lose -- it was not worth the drive from Laveen. There simply was nothing overly spectacular about Cafe Mix to make it stand out from other places.
The staff was friendly, the joint is well decorated, there is ample parking, and the food came out hot. It just did not have that "wow!" factor for any of us.
What a great place for a superb gyro along with lamb combo plate! The staff was amazing and the cafe extremely clean. We were recommended this cafe by a friend and so glad we went. Thank you, Juana, for your excellent service and delicious meals! We will be back and also recommend to other.
11-30-23 I just paid A pennie too much for a chicken plate a gyro and a side salad. No Taziki sauce comes with your order. You have to ask for it. There was a sliver of feta cheese in the side salads and the hummus looks like somebody ate half!! Not impressed at all. Never ever going back !!! I do not like hummus!
My wife and I have been ordering delivery from here for awhile and it's always top notch so we went in to eat and we were not disappointed. The food is incredible and the portions are very generous. I never liked hummus until I ate here so if you're looking for a delicious and affordable Greek meal, look no further than Cafe Mix.
This place is always a hit. The gyro meat is cooked well, not too wet or dry, AND the baklava here is THEEE best. I always get 2 haha! My husband and I order pickup about once a week, and it's my favorite. Everything is cooked to order so just know if you walk in there is a bit of a wait but DEF worth it!
My wife called in an order about 25 minutes before close and ordered the sampler for two and some appetizers. We usually try to avoid last minute orders but we had both worked late. The kitchen outdid themselves with fresh food instead of serving the end of day leftovers that a lot of places would do. Everything tasted amazing and was hot and fresh. Thank you so much for accommodating our annoying, last minute order. You guys rock!
I'm here to add to the reviews about customer deception. If you choose to support this establishment I suggest you ask the employees if they actually receive the tips left in the tip jar or or via credit card. If not, do NOT leave a tip for the owners. This is the most ridiculous logic ever. Customers do not leave tips for owners. This is very deceptive to customers and employees! What a great way to drive your business into the ground. Truly unbelievable and the owners should be ashamed! I really hope a news station picks up this story. I'm half tempted to stand in front of this business with a sign letting customers know where there tips are going cuz I'm sure they'd be shocked.
Lunch today was so delicious. The gyro plate was the best ever and plentiful. It came with a fresh green Greek salad. Very reasonably priced. Thank you
