We had a great meal! We had 2 Dinners Mac & Cheese, Mixed Greens w/smoked turkey, 2pc chicken; 2pc catfish with sweet potatoes. Hats off to the Chef!! Thank you Chef Weaver! ????
So today was my first time ordering from this location. It's a good thing it's not associated with Harold's Chicken Shack. Yes this is a black owned restaurant. But the service is horrible. A place to order online three wings and fries, fried mushrooms, and a large French fry. What I got when my order was picked up was three wings no fries mouth sauce on my fried mushrooms. And a large fry with my sauce on it. Now my directions stated my mushroom should be fried hard not Soft on that order. The wing order stated fried Chicken hard black pepper mild sauce mild sauce on everything and it was only pertaining to the chicken because it was in the order part of the chicken. Reading is fundamental especially understanding how to read a ticket or online order I think the woman owner and her staff need to learn how to read tickets correctly. Now when I was asked what can I do to rectify the problem I said correct my order I was told no we will refund your French fries but correct your mushrooms. My neighbor did go back up to the restaurant. They did correct my mushroom order gave me the french fries that was supposed to go with my meal but they should have made my entire meal over. The new fries were undercooked and they were cold now I live literally three blocks from the restaurant. The service is horrible as a first time customer I would never order from this restaurant again and took customer service is corrected. And as a owner ma'am who wouldn't give me your name I've already talked to my uncle I know your brother and you both on the restaurant. You might want to step down and hire you a manager with better skills because your customer service skills are not it.
P. S change the chicken grease it's all I can taste it in the chicken
The Bourbon wings are so fyyyyyeeeee!!!! If you haven’t tried them you are missing outttt!! I had them 2 nights in a row. They are fresh and flavorful. I don’t know what’s in that bourbon sauce but I need a bottle of it! They are definitely my go to item on the menu!
This was my second visit. In the tradition of Harold's Chicken in Chicago. Cafe Harold's has hit the top. All chicken fresh cooked. Extremely clean see through. I met Sharonda and to my surprise ???? the Owner Darlene is an old family friend. Great location 119th/I 57. Discount Monday. See Ya'll There.
First time here, Ordered 4wings with fries
Food was fresh and tasted good . I will return but only if the cook that was there today is cooking, why? Because the previous reviews have me skeptical but overall I'm glad I gave it a try after driving pass for months
We went to try out this new Harold’s Cafe, and lord was this chicken soooooo good. Hats off to the chef cause he seasoned that chicken so good, and the lady at the window gave me excellent service. I gave this place a 10 out of 10. Delicious meal ????️ Great prices.

I came to support because I stay down the street and always see this place empty. So, I made a conscious decision to come support my people.
When I first came in, the lady had the most horrible attitude. Rolling her eyes, talking low and just rude. I asked how long will it take and she says, 20 minutes. My order was ready in about 5-8 minutes. The couple before me, stated they wouldn’t be back because of her attitude and this was also their first time. When they went to get their food, the young lady was EXTREMELY nice to them, to their surprise. When I got mine, she was visibly irritated, rolled her eyes and said nothing. I asked was my mild sauce in the bag and she said, yea…with the nastiest attitude.
I’ve never met this lady and I’m not sure if she’s the owner. But I will NEVER support this business again, based on that experience. To purposely choose who to be nice to is the most unprofessional display I’ve seen in a long time.
I wrote a review and deleted because I said the food was good from one bite. But as I continued to eat, the chicken is horrible. Not fresh whatsoever.
I can see why they’re empty because so many other reviews talk about the horrible service. It’s definitely not worth supporting, imo.
New chicken place in the neighborhood. Very Clean. Only cooks food once order is placed and paid for, so you know the food is fresh and hot.
It is pricey for a chicken hut and the wings are way too small for my taste.
