15 July 2023 - 5 Stars ++++
Oh my - what a place!!
First time at this brand (ever)
COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH EVERY ASPECT OF OUR VISIT TODAY.
This location is bright, cheerful, relaxed, clean, and inviting. The staff were all smiling, and when I asked about the restaurant/menu, they responded with more joy and smiles - happy to explain it all. What a treat!!
The food was resonably priced, delicious, and very filling. Fed 8 people for just under $80.
The loyalty application was simple to install, set up, and use.
10-Stars all around. Will return when back in this area.
Ok so it’s a new place and so it’s the same thing where it’s crowded with new employees so I won’t be deducting any stars for long lines or inexperienced employees. But to be honest the line looked long but it was maybe 10 mins wait. You’ll wonder if your order will make it to the cashier because it goes in a few directions if you buy sandwiches and salad. Eventually they all come together in the same place.
So here we go. The food was good! I had a chicken pesto sandwich and would get it again. The Korean barbecue was also good but between the two I choose the pesto and it was pretty unanimous at our table.
My salad was the southwest protein salad. This was ~ok but I would get something different next time.
Employees were friendly even though they’re running all over trying to wrangle the components of each order. If you watch them it makes me appreciate how hard they’re working to complete each order.
My salad had not just one, but 2 crawling around, moving beetle BUGS!!! PROBABLY MORE, I didn't check. I'm so disgusted!! I ate at least 5 bites before I noticed. This tells me they aren't washing their lettuce. This is horrible, do better.
I am so excited to finally have a zupas near me. We ordered 2 combo meals and kids meals. First meal was a Korean BBQ with a Cobb and a Italian with a Cobb.
I ate the Korean and oh wow! Was this sandwich good!! It is slightly spicy so watch out for that but I’ll be ordering this one again.
I only took a star off because first the fruit cups in the kids meal is so small for the price. And then it was so crazy! Some of the employees were frazzled and didn’t know what was going on. I got to the register with some Korean BBQ sandwich and then had to wait for them to make it.
It’s a new restaurant so it’s going to take a bit to run smoothly
I don't usually leave reviews but I had such a horrible experience I couldn't resist. When I ordered they gave me a sample of the wrong soup (I asked for the southwest potato & green chili and she gave me the mushroom basil) which was fine because I actually liked it! I just felt concerned they didn't know the difference between the two. That's not why I was unhappy, although I felt it deserved a mention. The food was disgusting. I am usually happy with whatever, and I'm not the type to complain, but it was unacceptable. The salad I ordered was brown and the avacodo in it was bitter. I got two bites in before I couldn't finish it. My $11 salad was unfinishable because of the garbage quality ingredients they used. My last straw was the chocolate strawberry, which was also gross. It was mushy and not fresh in the slightest. I was pissed. Why am I spending so much on a salad and soup for only one of them to be edible? I just want them to do better and use fresher, more quality ingredients. I've been going to Zupas for years and never had an experience like this, so I'm truly confused why the food was so gross.
UPDATE: I called the store and the manager, Elijah, was so helpful and comped our meal! He gets a 10/10 :)
Pretty bad experience. Workers are unbelievably slow and clueless to what’s going on. Someone needs to teach them to speak up too.
Bad value. Not much food for $14. Obscene amounts of plastic and packaging that’s not biodegradable. Crowded inside. Could be cleaner.
Worst Zupas I’ve been to.
We have been traveling for two days and picking some less than spectacular restaurants. We needed some nutrition lol It was delicious and it hit the spot. Tomato basil soup, 1/2 California Cobb salad and orange infused water....ahhhhh
Newly opened, this Café Zupas is well lit, very clean, with friendly employees and well stocked with fresh delights.
I had a bowl of Chicken Enchilada soup and the new Spicy Chicken sandwich.
The soup was delicious - perfectly heated, rich and creamy with just the right amount of chicken and spices. Delightful!
The Spicy Chicken sandwich, however, was a huge disappointment. First and foremost, where's the chicken??? A *very* thin slice of chicken surrounded by mounds of breading, and then overcooked. It was like eating fried cornflakes!
With practically zero meat, the pickles, tomatoes and dressing was just too much.
When you've got a next-door neighbor like Chik-fil-A, where you get 4 times the meat and 1/2 the breading *for the same price*, then you'd think the competition would be neck-and-neck. Not this time. Sorry, Zupas. I really wanted to be impressed with a great sandwich. Drop this one...
