Best WLM Reviews
Cafe Intermezzo is a perfect place to grab lunch. It's got the upscale vibe, refined menu, and execution of a finer dining restaurant but doesn't break the bank!
I love the vast selection and thoughtful menu for lattes and all espresso related items. Cafe intermezzo is where I come when I want a perfect eggs Benedict. The eggs are perfect every time. The portions are plentiful, flavorful, and well executed. I enjoy the consistency across the restaurants.
I also enjoy the smaller details such as the fresh flowers and compact water glasses.
This is a must hit Atlanta brunch spot.
Came early (few minutes after opening) for no wait time, place filled up within an hour. Service is fast and friendly.
Got Caffe Alpine, French dip, and American breakfast ($52 total after tip). Coffee was very good. Sandwich was alright. Potatoes had good flavor but not crisp. Eggs and bacon were good. Croissant was very good. Good portion sizes.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to share my thoughts on this restaurant—it's definitely worth checking out! The ambience here is really nice, sets the perfect vibe for a cozy meal. As for the service, it's okay—not exceptional, but nothing to complain about either. Now, let's talk about the food! The pasta was super tasty, like seriously delicious. And the crepe? Oh boy, it was very tasty, had me craving for more. However, the pastry was just okay, didn't quite hit the mark compared to the other dishes. Overall, it's a solid spot to grab a bite to eat, especially if you're in the mood for some scrumptious pasta or crepes. Give it a try and see for yourself!
My travelling companion and myself stumbled on this as we left the High Museum. The travelling companion is a coffee fiend and this place was close. To my surprise, it had the feel of an European Coffeehouse. The uniforms and outfits were very much in line with this concept. We were very intrigued by the place. The hostess informed us that it would be 20 minutes to be seated so ushered us to the bar.
We decided we could order something to sate our hunger.
My friend ordered a shlag cheesecake. He devoured this and had a coffee with whipped cream. I ordered the baked brie. The order came out as the artichoke dip ($13). I told them it was okay that they had gotten the order in correct, but would keep it and to cancel the brie. The baked brie came out 20 minutes later (35 minutes in total) and we still had not been seated either. The person who brought out the brie ($13.50), she was rude and rolled her eyes at me when the bartender indicated that order was cancelled. This was horribly off putting, as she muttered something...I did not catch it all...The artichoke dip was okay, the bread was a ficelle. It was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Six slices came with the dip in the middle. A nice feta paired with the artichoke dip. The bartender who took care of us was delightful. He was making a ton of drinks. He made sure my sweet tea glass and water glass remained filled. My friend and I decided based on the wait and attitude of that staff member to leave. Our bill came to $37.70 without tip . I would still recommend this place, the atmosphere here is pretty great and the food of what I tried was okay.
Had a wonderful time here with a friend recently. This was my first time dining here. My friend recommended the intermezzo hot chocolate which we both ended up ordering. The portion is fairly large and comes with whipped cream, almond shavings, and chocolate shavings. There are floral and aldo tones in this hot chocolate making it a nice treat. I was there during dinner time (around 6:30 pm) but ordered a breakfast meal (which they serve all day). I ordered a plate that came with eggs, toast, breakfast potatoes, and chicken sausage. The eggs were very nice and had a creamy texture rather than fluffy. This paired very well with the sprouted toast. The potatoes were nicely seasoned and tasted great without the ketchup. The wait staff was very attentive and patient. They brought out ice water for us straight away without having to ask which is something I really appreciate when restaurants/staff members do so. The ambiance is elegant and relaxing. The dim tones in lighting do walk a fine line between calming and just dark though, so this may be something to consider when visiting. The prices are moderate and dining could cost upwards of $20 per person. Overall, I had a lovely first experience and will surely soon return.
Super stocked to come here, and it did not disappoint!! Open late!! Yay!! Came for dessert and coffee, both were excellent and I would hands down come here again!! So many cakes to choose from and the coffee menu is huge!!!
If you want to experience a step up from a typical coffee shop or coffee house, this is the perfect breakfast or brunch date spot. The decor is warm and elevated with a romantic element in both the decorations and lighting. The menu is extensive with tons of options for coffee lovers and the brunch options are also fantastic. The avocado toast we shared was the best of the 4 we’d had on this trip. Both the Mexican hot chocolate and the intermezzo cappuccino were excellent and we loved that they offer dairy alternatives for those who prefer or need to swap. Their desserts look delicious as well
29May2024, 8:15pm. Bar service slow, indifferent, and unfriendly. I live a block away, eat dinner and have dessert at Cafe Intermezzo frequently, and have posted excellent reviews previously, but tonight’s experience at the bar was poor. I ordered the Arugula mango salad, which was good, and a beer. I was never offered another beer, nor asked how everything was, zero interaction and notable avoidance. With so many dining choices in Midtown, I will rethink my dinner/dessert options and recommendations based upon the poor customer service experience at the bar tonight.
