Best WLM Reviews
Coffee is served with care and taste nice especially that not so many specialty coffees are around.
We had freshly baked croissants at the early morning with nicely prepared coffee.
Worth the visit in case the caffeine content in your blood drops to alarming refueling level :)
I had the best coffee in Brussels here (you have filtered coffee as well), paired wonderfully with a delicious cinnamon roll. They also boast a spacious terrace, which is perfect for enjoying your coffee in the sunshine. Highly recommend for a delightful experience! ????
It's an alright place. I didn't like the coffee but that could be just my taste.
The service was alright (lady polite even though looking at her phone).
Cozy place.
Although I wrote this on April the 1st I can assure you this is no joke!
If you like awful service, terrible coffee and toilets that you can catch things from then this is the place for you!
We had 2 "long" coffee, 2 cinnamon buns for 15 EURO!!!!! The coffee wins the title of the worst choice I've ever had, and this is from someone who has drank British army coffee on numerous occasions, think a teaspoon of mud in hot water and you're about there - not even sugar made this drinkable.
The service is even more dire than usual Brussels "hospitality" with the hipster bro throwing our coffees down - you have to collect the cakes but not the coffees.... Bizarre. Anyway, he then proceeded to completely berate the couple behind us for dareing to order a "normal coffee" because apparently they have such a huge selection it was impossible for him to decipher what they meant by normal and they should be "more clear in the future"
The toilets are both a bio hazard and a safety hazard in one hit with no light down the stairs to them, overflowing bins and out of order parts including the catch me if you can toilet seat that I think is held on with hopes and prayers....
All in all, not the capital of cafes, there are better elsewhere for less.
Belgium resident for 5+ years so know my stuff, not your average tourist
There's a wide variety of coffees to choose from. I tried the speciality coffees from Kenya. It took around 15 mins to prepare. Oat milk is for extra 60 cents. But it was a good experience. The place on the 1st day of the year was a bit crowded and a long queue to get your coffee. Tables outside. Pastries available. Good overall. Would come back with friends later.
The atmosphere of the place is nice and the coffee apparently is (said one friend). But unfortunately I didn’t enjoy my order at all. I ordered an Iced Tea (4,30€) that was plain tea with a slice of orange, the whole together felt like drinking bad tap water. I do agree that technically « it is an iced tea » but in my opinion it was missing some sweetness and taste.
My friend that ordered a croissant was very disappointed as it was obviously over priced but also burned!
The staff wasn’t mean but wasn’t nice either.
I wouldn’t recommend this place personally.
Fantastic coffee !
Cool vibes and nice yummy freshly baked cakes, will be back !
