Gene is very knowledgeable and fair. Replaced a drive belt on my dyna. Got my bike back quick and felt good about the quality of work. Also use his shop for tire replacement 100% of the time. Thanks Gene for the integrity of your work.
I was a little panicked when I learned that GoRace no longer does work on scooters. My 50-cc Honda Metro needed a new battery and an oil change, and the vehicle had sat unused for a year because I didn't get around to finding another shop. I found Gene by using Google and I was impressed that he would accept tiny scooters into his shop when his usual work is giant Harleys! Gene is easy to reach (10 minutes from Blacksburg) and the service was fast and priced fairly. Like a good doctor, Gene takes the time to listen to your symptoms before diagnosing the problem. He is also honest about what he is likely to be able to (or not be able to) do. I will gladly take my scooter to CG Cycle again.
He did a great job on the service and at a fair price. Would easily recommend anyone needing moped or motorcycle service. He is a one-man crew however so there might be a delay
CG Cycle is a hidden gem. Its a little hard to find, but worth the effort. The owner/mechanic is meticulous and KNOWS motorcycles. If I needed a quote on a repair or rebuild, CG would be on my list!
Very pleasant shop. I needed a simple part, a carb boot, and Gene came to my rescue. No one else for miles had it, and I needed it that day. Super knowledgeable and it was a joy to talk with him on carbs, his gorgeous work, and a bit on MMA fighting. I will be bringing him my buisness from now on. Such a little gem here in Blacksburg.
BEST guy to work on your bike.!!! Knows what hes doing and fair.. Not like other people and rip you off.. If ya need bike work go to him and you won't regret it by far
Great bike repair and service.
Best moped mechanic shop money can buy.
