Best WLM Reviews
Went to Trivia night, an amazing crew. The host, the server, the bartender all friendly & funny. The restaurant is family friendly. The bar side is 5 star five bar. You’ll have a good time!
I was in town on leisure and decided to eat dinner at Buzz Inn on Evergreen. I've stopped at other Buzz Inns while riding my motorcycle with a few friends, so I've been to Buzz Inns before but this was my first time at this location.
The inside was no surprise, typical decor as the other Buzz Inns. The wait staff was friendly and courteous.
The food I was disappointed in though. I ordered the Taco Salad with crumbled hamburger. The salad was prepared nicely and had decent amount of all the ingredients. The thing that disappointed me was that the hamburger crumbles were overcooked.
There was a slight burnt taste and the meat was dried out. My guess would be the cook was distracted and left the meat cooking too long.
I also didn't understand why the taco salad came with a slice of garlic Texas toast, but I'm a sucker for bread, especially when it's toasted, so I'm not complaining!
Any way, other than the meat being overcooked my meal was pretty good. Especially the chocolate cheesecake I had for dessert! Very decadent and rich.
A family restaurant with delicious home cooking and great service.
A friend and I took my foster granddaughter for lunch on Friday, April 12 about 1 o’clock.
The waitress, friendly and efficient. There was a minor glitch on my granddaughters order, which was quickly remedied. On top of taking care of everything, she let my granddaughter have a free dessert, you can imagine it put my granddaughter over the moon-and the dessert was so good that I came home and looked for the recipe-it was the skillet cookie. It was a very fun outing for us.
We had a big order for a large work group. I called ahead to make sure they were cool with it and they were able to accommodate us! When we showed up they were happy and very nice, and all the food was hot and delicious! This is a great Buzz location! Big thank you to the Tuesday morning staff! You made us all very happy!
Terrible just awful, the inventor of the chicken fried steak is weeping in his grave. The cook brings dishonor to this "eating" establishment. Woe and pity to this poor kitchen person, they probably have never eaten anything good, and thought the room temperature trash they served up was acceptable. The breakfast there was unpalatable I did not eat it. I asked for an extra crispy chicken fried steak and what I received was rubbery and way undercooked. My hashbrowns had no brown and were cold in the middle. The coffee they use there tasted like pencil shavings. I did not eat any of it. I will not eat gray eggs. They did not charge me for the food because I did not take a single bite. They charged me $3.38 for possibly the worst coffee I've tasted in my life. This would include the cold coffee at low end car repair places. So I paid for the coffee and left. If you value your health or have any taste buds I would strongly recommend that you stay away from this place. However if you would like to eat in a dirty place with sticky tables and uncooked food, or perhaps you're interested in self abuse then by all means go to the buzz in on evergreen.
I don’t eat here, just come for the bar side which isn’t that atmospheric. Bartenders are super friendly as that is all it really has going for them besides trivia nights on Thursday. It’s got its group of regulars but that’s all. I really only come here because I’m friends with a bartender.
If I had to suggest any thing?
Keep your bar open ‘til 2. Washington already cuts people off at 2, why any earlier? Gotta figure out how to keep people later
Get rid of the dining tables in the pool area, throw another table in there for free use. Keep the felt fresh and clean, have a pool league. I came in on Thursday night and there was a half dollar sized, dried up, queso looking dip thing right on the rail. The table is right next to the wall, pushed it out a little further but didn’t help much.
After the restaurant closes the entire half of that building looks like it shuts down. Waste of square footage.
I’m pretty regular. I can’t say the communication between front and restaurant is great. Last two orders, just wings #1 I requested plain with sweet chili sauce in the side (in came drenched in sauce, no on the side) ; #2 I ordered plain with ranch on the side,, got plain (no ranch on the side, or even at all) and French fries (which I did not order, nor would eat, especially to go). On top of that they added a surcharge because they toooed off my glass of wine, and ended up emptying the bottle, rather than put less than 2 oz back on the shelf. Why? On top of this they added a $1.50 Transaction fee (for running my card), plus a $1.50 to go fee (acceptable). Three fees for what? Packing up an order I paid for, but did not get as ordered? Check your to-go purchases carefully I guess.
Pros:
Friendly server. Tasty lemonade.
Cons:
Over 5 minutes to be seated.
Mixed our order up with table next to ours.
No drinks for 35+ minutes.
Overcooked steak that tasted like old poorly cleaned grill.
Undercooked bloody chicken wings.
Side salad never served.
Dipping sauce never brought out.
Waited about 20 minutes after eating and decided to go up to counter to pay. We were there for over 2 hours, spent $130 even after they removed the salad and wings from the bill, and we left hungry.
This didn't seem like just an off night. This seemed like poor management and lack of quality infrastructure.
This place needs a lot of work.
