great portions but thought the chicken lacked some flavor. the sides dishes were amazing though and the corn bread was top tier! not rushing to come back anytime soon but might come back if craving some southern food.
fried chicken: a little bland but pretty crispy and good portions
mac and cheese: loved the side dish, so cheesy and creamy
collard greens: standard collard greens and enjoyed this side too

The staff was awesome, especially Debu. The chefs were great. Basically, you won't find a friendlier crew. The food was simply amazing. We ordered and shared the Fried Chicken Benedict, and Pork Belly & Nora Mills Grits. Need to get them to start one in Mountain View. Simply awesome soul food that is food for the soul.
Love the breakfast here, it's filling and yummy without being overly greasy. Service is good and very polite. I'll be back around again soon!
I must say that I really enjoyed this place. It may be one of my new favorite brunch spots. I’ve been wanting to go here for a while, but just hadn’t made my way over. I have absolutely been missing out.
There were three flavors of mimosa: orange, mango and guava. My partner got the mango and I got the guava. We both enjoyed them. I would recommend the large. The only thing that would have made it better would be having bottomless mimosas ????!
My partner ordered the chicken and waffles and he loved it. He was really skeptical since we didn’t have to make reservation and there was no wait. That’s not our typical experience in SF so it was taken as sign that the food wouldn’t be good. WRONG!!!
I ordered the chicken, biscuits and gravy with two eggs. Also, delicious. I asked for the gravy on the side because I didn’t want it to be smothered on top of the chicken and biscuits. The gravy was so good I ended up pouring and smothering it on top of the chicken and biscuits ????????♂️. I couldn’t help it.
My only complaint is that I would like to have had bigger pieces of chicken. I thought I was going to get full size pieces of chicken. Instead they were bite size pieces to fit on the biscuits. It was all so good I just wanted more.

So glad I finally made it here! Amazing gem in the Mission ! So much flavor and cooked to perfection! Service was great, and clean! Loved the grits too and I’m picky ! If anything I can say I wished that I could have had a decent ice coffee lol I will still recommend this place and be back again and again . Great job BSK! Thank you for a great experience!
Came here very excited to try it out at brunch as I heard they had amazing biscuits. Unfortunately the service and experience was very disappointing. We placed our order and waited 15min for our OJ and water. It was another 30min before we saw the waiter again. He dropped off the waffles and one order of food and let me know that they ran out of biscuits (I had the biscuits and chicken meal) and I needed to order something else. That they waited 45min and until all of the food was out before telling me really annoyed me. It was another 10min before I got my food. I got the scramble which was rather plain. They comped me for the food, but the experience will prevent me from coming back.
Had one of the best waffles after so long . This place gave good service and I liked the open kitchen very much. Try their chicken, it’s worth it.
Ordered delivery via Door dash. Ordered 3 of the two piece fried chicken meals and Cajun pasta with chicken. The fries that came with the chicken meal was abysmal. They were soggy and was only a handful, by handful I mean like the 10 - 15 fries you can grab and throw in fryer. The Cajun pasta was a pretty small portion for $13 + $2 for chicken. The food was just eh, nothing special. Pasta Box is barely bigger than my phone.
