The 3 of us came to look at some homes for sale in the area. A local gave us the recommendation to stop in at Butterfield’s for breakfast. We would have driven by as this place is very unassuming from the outside. It was our lucky day. The dining area was packed but we were seated immediately. The menu is vast and we found it hard to decide. We settled on omelettes. 2 of us had the Greek Omelette. We were blown away by the ample amount of egg, gyro meat, onion, & feta cheese. Delicious, moist & wonderful. 3rd got the Ham & Cheese omelette. Typical ham & cheese? - not at all. This was a mind blown experience as the flavor was a “who knew a ham a cheese omelette could taste so good” This omelette was just as filled & delicious. The hash browns were perfectly cooked to our requests of crispiness & our sourdough toasts were soft & toasted. The English Muffin was fine. We can’t wait to come back & try other options.
I thought this little breakfast spot was excellent! I got a veggie omelette that was delicious! My wife’s spinach and feta omelette was great too! My daughter had pancakes that looked awesome too! Too bad we live in Cleveland and can’t visit more often! Also, it’s nice that they were considerate of little people and children when installing the urinal so close to the floor! ????
Visited twice while in Florida on vacation staying with family. They recommended my fiancé and I stop in because it was the best spot for breakfast in the area - they weren’t wrong!
The staff were so friendly and had great energy and the food was really delicious (especially the smoked sausage). We only had to wait around 10 minutes for a table and service was fast!
Definitely impressed and would return when we visit in future!
Butterfields is my favorite place to go for breakfast. Get here early because it gets crowded fast, but the food is 10/10 and service is always fast. They have the best Eggs Benedict compared to others in the area or in general that I've tried. Everyone is extremely friendly and the food is always amazing!
Absolutely a hidden gem for a small family owned business spot. Our 1st time there, will be back. Food and service was on point.
Excellent family owned diner open for breakfast and lunch. If quiche is offered as a daily special, highly recommend trying it. We ordered the spinach and cheese quiche which was quite generous in size and delicious. The flavor of spinach and feta were nicely balanced and I enjoyed every bite. The sausage gravy was ok, but maybe not something I'd order again. The omelette was perfect. Again, they know flavor balance! We ordered a ham, spinach, cheese omelette and it was the outstanding. Our meal was made even better by the cheerfulness of our server who definitely enjoyed her job and patrons. Looking forward to going back to try the lunch menu!!!
I just tried them today for the first time as I was craving breakfast from a diner. This place is serious about what they do. Not only was the entire order correct, but it was exactly ready when estimated, and it was extremely delicious. I only tried because a closer place to me is closed on Mondays. This place is absolutely the best. I will be going here for breakfast from now on even if it's a couple minutes further.
Went to Butterfield’s family Restaurant for the second time yesterday on our way back from Tampa. This place never disappoints the food was once again outstanding. The place was packed. We only waited about 20 minutes but it was well worth it. We had brunch. I also got to meet the owner and I now know why the staff is outstanding ! The owner himself is such a nice man. There was wall-to-wall people, and he still took time to speak to everyone. Where there is good management, There is good staff.
If you are in the area you have to stop in this restaurant I had the orzo chicken soup which never disappoints. It is delicious. Our table also had eggs Benedict, an egg omelette, a Cuban sandwich etc ! Our server was Savannah although it was super busy every time she was at our table she was extremely sweet and happy to get us whatever we needed. When I am in the area, I will always stop in this restaurant!!!
