The staff were really nice and my food was brought to me quickly. I got the BLT sandwich, and it was really good. The bread was a little different from what you would usually get with a BLT, but I liked it.
I would definitely recommend going here for a lunch date or just by yourself. Because it's just a nice charming little restaurant.
I’ve enjoyed Butterburrs, and usually went for the SST (soup/salad, sandwich, treat), so this is a great way to enjoy the same food much faster.
I took the drive thru around 5 PM on a Monday, and was on my way in less than 10 min.
Attached menu pictures are from January 2024. Price is decent for the quantity (you get 16oz of soup + modest sandwich + good sized treat!), and using the monthly BOGO coupon gets you two meals for under $15!
They were happy to accommodate a request for no dairy on our order.
Evey is the BEST server. Kind and frequently helps. The service was amazing, the food tasted great, and the atmosphere was pretty normal, but was fun. I would say go for the cinnamon twist. WORTH THE MONEY????????
My daughter and I dined in for this visit. We placed our order at the counter, and the staff was pleasant.
We ordered Chicken Noodle soup with a side salad and a twist.
Many of the tables had a film on them, possibly from the cleaning cloths or solution.
Our meals arrived within minutes of ordering. The lady who took my order mentioned that drinks and silverware would be brought to us, but after waiting, I had to walk to the counter to request them.
The soup was as delicious as always. However, the salad was wilted, and the tomatoes were not fresh. The twists were soft in the center but had started to harden on the outside. Overall, our food was acceptable, but the service was lacking.
Their food is great, soup always hits the spot, recommend the chicken noodles with toasted ham and cheese with a raspberry twist. They have always gotten my order correct. Sooo good
My lemon cream pie looked like a pile of slop thrown in the to go container, didn't even resemble a piece of pie & my soup was room temp at best. Little disappointed as this is usually one of my favorite places to eat.
We visited your drive-through this evening Wednesday, January 27 at approximately 7:30 PM we moved from Pocatello two years ago after living there for 34 years. Butterburrs has always been one of our go to restaurants in Pocatello for the entire time we have lived there. In the past we have also enjoyed your drive-through restaurant lickety-split on Yellowstone we were thoroughly disappointed and realized that the service and food have definitely gone downhill. The service was very very slow to get our food. The sandwich was OK. The soup was good however, for our treat we got the raspberry twist and were thoroughly disappointed. These were just not day. They were literally a couple of days old likely made on Monday . They were hard and had a definite stale to moldy taste to them. It’s sad for such a long term staple of Pocatello to have gone downhill like this. Unfortunately, we would never go back again.
Sad.
I'm not the biggest sandwich person but I went there because my family wanted to. The sandwich was pretty good as was the Italian soda and raspberry twist. The service was great, before I ordered they said they were understaffed and taking a bit longer than usual but I didn't think it was slow at all. I ordered a potato and bacon soup which I was also warned people were saying was salty but they hadn't had time to make a new batch so they would swap it if I didn't like it before they gave it to me. The place was clean but I felt like the staff was very sweet and kind even feeling a little understaffed which I totally believe with it being black Friday.
