So I’m usually very skeptical where I eat Mexican food because I Grew up with family that cook great. And I live down the street from this place and when I got my food????????. The food is amazing literally so good. Shout out to the cook man knows what he’s doing. I love the atmosphere, makes you feel welcomed the moment you walk in

I only go on Tuesdays. Who ever is the cook on Tuesday produces excellent food. All the other days I have gotten cold, bad or slapped together food. If you get your order too quickly, than you are probably getting cold or warned over food!!

First Timer...Loved it. We came at a good time and then a slee of people came after us.

The food was in huge portions! Gave me another meal or so out of it.

I got the Carnitas combo. Delish. Oh I loved their little quesadillas that come with the combo. I'd like to come back for more of those!

It was exciting to have the cops ????‍♂️ come by looking for evidence... yep they found it. But nobody was there to arrest, and we all felt safer knowing cops were around!

Always Great Food!!

Pretty good taco shop with a drive thru! Food is made fresh so there’s a bit of a wait. People here are friendly. There is some covered seating area outdoors.

I got their carne asada fries and it was a large portion. The fries were crispy. I liked that this place still includes pico on their carne asada fries because a lot of places don’t anymore. The meat was perfect. They have a list of salsas to choose from and they were all great.

Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

The food is awful. Dry, no flavor. Salsas are super bland. Red salsa tastes wretched. Only positive here is it's a 24 hour drive thru. My carne asada torta was the sorriest looking torta I've ever seen.

Food wasn’t bad. The red and green hot sauce was not my idea of good salsa. Folded taco plate was just under $15 which seems expensive but then again a gallon of gas is $6.

Ok, I have lived in City Heights for 10 years almost. I used to pass by this place and ignore it because of the name. I have been to places called Santanas before and have always been disappointed. However within the last month I have been coming here after work because I have been tired of Aiberto's by the Jack in the box on University. Now Aibertos is pretty good but Burritos Santanas consistently has the flavor I've been searching for. If you like shrimp and carne asada the La Paz is the best burrito hands down at this place. Their rolled tacos are only beaten by Saritas is Casa de Oro. Tonight I got the adobada fries. I've gone to TJ just for adobada tacos after my sons dentist appointments.

This place has great Adobada burritos and tacos. The best I've had this side is either tacos el gordo or Aibertos. So here is a look with high hopes and a healthy appetite. See you soon.
