Cheese flavored water was what I got on a really sparse amount of chips today, and you call it a deluxe nachos?! Gross! Come on guys! It’s shameful that the effort was even made to put something so bad in a bag and say it’s food. This is usually one of the staple restaurants in town so today’s lunch really made me think I should find a new place. Seriously disappointed
Normally Burrito King is fantastic, my only complaint is that the hot sauce is too hot and the mild isn't hot enough. Yesterday they did make a small mistake in that they mislabeled our burritos so my wife got mine and vice versa, but we each took a bite and traded, no biggie. Never had a bad meal here, and if there was a medium hot sauce that hit my sweet spot it would be five stars.
Stopped there after 12 and would do it again great food and better customer service. The manager accommodated my dietary restrictions and suggested the deluxe chicken nachos. As you can see by the picture it was a great recommendation. They open until 3 am with a drive thru.
I love Mexican food. I’m always looking for a new place to try. I’m in town for a couple of weeks and I’ve been dying to try a out a New Mexican food place. Everyone recommended Burrito King. I pulled up to the drive-thru, but the menu was huge! There was no way I would be able to decide quickly enough, so I pulled over and parked so I could order from the window.
After several minutes I ordered the 3 chicken tacos with guacamole and my daughter ordered the shrimp tacos with a chicken quesadilla and a Mexican coke. I got the plate, so it came with refried beans and Mexican rice. I really liked the way the chicken was seasoned.
Altogether our bill was $41. I think it’s a really good deal. My meal, 3 chicken tacos, refried beans and rice was only $9.25!
The meal was very good. I would have liked it if they had corn tortillas for the tacos.
The service was really good! The employees were very friendly and helpful. It looks like kind of a dive, but it’s got really good food. Unfortunately they didn’t give me a fork with which to eat my rice and beans and when I went back to ask for one and some salsa, but they didn’t see me or hear me, so I left. But fortunately I keep my own reusable utensils in my car.
Prices are great! Very reasonable.
I would definitely go back.
Recently I tried to use my punch card only to be told it was expired and then given a new one. Now I have all the punches and went to get a free burrito last night and was told they aren’t doing it anymore. They also aren’t the most friendly. While it’s a good burrito and great late night meal, these are the reasons I had to give 2 stars.
Burrito King is an excellent place for tasty Mexican food, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, tortes......and more. They have a broad menu and early and late hours. The food is great. This isn't a place for indoor dining, but when the weather is nice there are picnic tables. Walk up or drive through it's a good place to go.
Went to Burrito King tonight the guy at the walk up counter was clearly not paying attention I had to re tell him my order 3 times. When he finally gave me my food I told him he gave me a the wrong order and he had to make the car he just gave my food to stop and give it back, then gave it to me which was gross. I got all the way home and the burrito was messed up. So even after I told him he had it wrong 3 times they still made it wrong. Thanks for wasting my money
I’ve never had a bad experience until today.
Their cheese smelled weird and I found a DEAD FLY INSIDE!!!
There was a whole dead fly inside of the burrito.
I went back asking for a reimbursement which they couldn’t do…..
They made me a new burrito, but had me look through it to make sure there wasn’t another dead fly inside.
Which I shouldn’t have to do to begin with……….
Definitely not thrilled with my experience or the customer service.
Will not eat here again.
