Best BBQ in a long time. The burnt ends were some of the best I've ever had. And that's saying something! Good selection of sauces with good flavor. Came on a recommendation from a friend. Will return if I'm in the area.
This place was gas. I tried the Monday melt and pork ribs. Ribs were cooked perfectly and had the perfect bite. The melt was also great, and came with A LOT of fries. Drinks were self serve with a fountain (Coke products), and the food is delivered to your table. This place is miles better than AJ’s Pit BBQ, and significantly more affordable. Not sure how they manage that, but I’m not mad about it. Owner was also a genuine and nice dude. This Florida man will be coming back.
I purchased a burnt end platter online for take out. I thought it was a good deal to get a meat selection and two sides. The taste was ok, but there was barely any meat! I decided to weigh the burnt ends when I returned home and it was only a quarter pound. Better off purchasing the meat and sides separate.
Just found my new favorite BBQ spot in Denver. I had the PK with burnt ends. It was great. Meat was very tender. The fries were on point too. Perfectly crispy with a nice fry seasoning on them. I'll be back soon!
Not sure what happen to this place it use to be good. We went for dinner tonite and it was horrible. The fountain drinks all sugar free drinks were empty and they had no brisket. The food tasted like it was precooked then microwaved. The greenbeans were dry. And the 2 girls that were working there had the rudest customer service. Will never go back. And I will be posting on yelp.
I'll be very plain and straight forward here. The food is plain and flavorless. The meat has absolutely no smokey taste not surprising since they don't even have a smoker and for the price these are the most pitiful serving sizes I've ever seen. I got the "outlaw platter," that for $30!!! You get half a pound of meat and half a pound of sides! Each part is 4 ounces?! That is outrageous and again it's awful food barely even edible. Of course the guy on register barely even speaks English it took 5 minutes for what should have been a very simple order. I won't be coming back and i encourage everyone to steer clear
The tacos are a little weird, stick with the brisket which was really good. A lot of the sauces have a kick. There's a coke freestyle machine for soda. There's a nice condiment bar with chili peppers. The TV's mounted above are generally set to play sports. The turkey was good too. Plenty of room at lunch. It wound up being kinda pricy with drinks.
I've lived in Colorado my entire life, where I've tried many BBQ restaurants. However, Burnt End BBQ is the best in the state! The meat is tender and flavourful while even the sauces are outstanding. I haven't had BBQ sauce in Colorado that is any good until now. The sides I've tried are also great. I've never thought about tacos using BBQ meats or even thought I'd be ording them but for my second helping I tried the taco Tuesday trio; again, it is amazing! You get to try all the flavors, with each taco different than the other.
This place is so good and everyone should give them a try. We're here for lunch but ordering more food for dinner; is worth it.
