"Five Stars" - my picky son.
Best fish and chips I have ever had. The chowder and coleslaw was delicious too. Portions are big. 2 piece would be big enough for most. We'll definitely be back.
Holy cow. I wasn’t really sure what to expect walking in here after checking some of the reviews mentioning it was convenient for being close to the airport. Before I get into the details it’s worth mentioning that I don’t think I’ll ever find fish tacos like this ever again, and I’ll be dreaming of them regularly.
Walking in, you might not be overwhelmed with instagramable decor, but let’s face it, this is not the spot you go to to take pictures in. It’s all about the food. I started with the seafood chowder… don’t be cheap, do both. Hands down the best seafood chowder I’ve had. Every bite was filled with scallops or shrimp. Next I got the trio fish tacos, blackened (tried to save calories as opposed to the beer batter). I’m convinced you really can’t go wrong whichever way you get them. The tacos were HUGE and filled me to the point I had to sadly toss some, and that’s very unlike me.
Next time I’m in Seattle this will be the first place I’ll stop by.
The fish and seafood options here are next level. Clean, fresh, simply prepared, and mouthwateringly delicious. Your choices are halibut, salmon or cod. You can get it grilled, blackened, or fried. If you choose the deep-fryer, decide whether the fish gets coated in a panko crust or beer batter. We had grilled halibut tacos (corn tortillas), panko crusted halibut and chips, and lobster roll with coleslaw.
Oh my goodness I am so happy I tried this place! My husband and I have been looking for a good fish place ..we don’t like Ivars at all but we do love this place! The Panko breaded combo platter was fantastic and I had the captain’s platter which I chose the beer batter on was amazing! The tacos were meh but it’s only due to the texture of the blackened cod it was really chewy so I recommend getting it cooked another way but still try them! The cocktail sauce is fire ???? and the tarter sauce was a little too dill heavy for my taste but still pretty tasty.
Ordered beer battered shrimp tacos (10/10), my dad loved his halibut beer battered tacos! Chowder is delicious. The price and quality go hand in hand. Cashier and server were kind (it’s possible they were the same person lol!). Highly recommend
One of the few places that doesn’t have bacon in their seafood chowder. Absolutely amazing. Thick and creamy. Lobster roll was really good. Po boy was decent, a little too fried for my liking that it takes away from the salmon taste. Tacos great
Today, the food was not great at all. The Cod Fish was burnt and yet you allow it to be pick up. It’s your guys fault, so why not make another batch. And then, the fish (meat) was rubbery. Disappointing….
First time coming to Burien Fish House and we are most definitely coming back. My husband and I shared the lobster roll and the prawn beer battered tacos and they were both delicious!! Our favorite was the prawn beer tacos.
There is plenty of parking, the atmosphere is super cute.
