Buddy and I walked in, greeted almost immediately as there wasn’t really any customers in there. Server was swift with bringing our drinks. Ordered a brisket burger, asked for medium rare, server read back my order, zero flaws. I got my burger and it was damn near well done with half my topping missing. Idk what’s going on in the kitchen but damn there wasn’t anything happening on the inside of the joint.. maybe online orders? However only 3 ppl came to pick up food as we were there. Got the check, everything was on the check correct, which led me to believe the cook is just retarded. Lost a customer (not that it matters I’m sure).
I don’t eat burgers too much but this past weekend, it was the move. I ordered the Smith Burger and cheese fries. I added tobacco peppers on the burger to make it spicy, because I love spicy food! It was really good, definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The flavor was all there. Now the cheese fries were a tad bit overrated for me. Some seasoning may have done them some justice. They weren’t anything special and it was a bit cold when we got them since we had to wait for someone to come to the bar. Now when a customer says they have a pickup and the greeter says go to the bar but there’s no one at the bar, it would make sense to maybe try and see if they can find an employee to get the pickup? Other than that, it was a decent choice for dinner
I made the mistake of trying Whataburger one evening and walked out when no one showed up to the counter for endless minutes. So, I stopped at BurgerSmith and forgot it has been ages since I was at the Perkins location. I ordered the Smith burger and garlic butter fries. It was bagged to go but I was eating it at the bar. My requested toppings were absent but Nicole hooked me up more than one way. Holy Cow! The garlic fries were Great. I enjoyed them without condiments. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The burger was very tasty ????
This place is amazing! Worth every penny! Their foods are made fresh and so tasty!
If you can get their BLT (thick cut bacon, fried green tomatoes and mixed greens with their Cajun ranch), get it! It was worth feeling silly trying to get my mouth around it!
I asked for medium rare it was literally raw. It had no seasoning looked like it came from a frozen patty box. The onion rings were greasy and limp. The cook needs to turn the heat up on both the fryer and needs to check the internal temperature 130-135 of the patty before serving it to people. Cheese was solid not melted. The service was actually nice. It was just the food that was not.
All around solid joint to grab a burger and fries. I’ve visited this eats like this multiple times and it’s consistent. They offer freshly brewed sweetened and unsweetened tea. The place was clean and the appetizers came out quickly. The filet burger is tender and has a little different taste from the smith burger. Both are good choices. I really enjoy the friend green beans and okra. Unlike many restaurants, the portions are comparable to the pricing.
I was immediately seated given not too busy in a Wednesday evening. Great customer service and my waitress was very helpful with which beer would suit me best. I got a build your own burger with a turkey patty. Super delicious and fresh! Will definitely be back.
I have to preface this with the fact that I ABSOLUTELY adore & love food. Today, I worked a 6 hour shift and had been craving a nice, juicy burger. I finally got off work, tried to visit one place (that looked sketchy) but i passed by and realized that I’d forgotten that Burgersmith was right there. This was my first time so i didn’t know what to expect, but this was an experience I didn’t foresee. Not only was I greeted and helped immediately, I was able to order to-go and get my food in about 15-20 min. I couldn’t wait to try the garlic butter fries, so I started my car and popped a couple in my mouth before pulling off. I am not lying to you when I say my eyes rolled in the back of my head and I screamed a little. GET THE GARLIC BUTTER FRIES. And they were hot n fresh???? I ordered the Bourbon BBQ burger (forgive me for the wrong name) adding pepper jack cheese, and man… I have never loved a burger so much. Everything about my experience today was amazing and absolutely made my heart smile. I should have tipped my bartender, but I’m going back sooner than I probably should to indulge again and make sure I tip him for being so great and guiding me through exploring the menu. I couldn’t even get a picture of my meal, but I wish I’d savored the whole journey a little more. It was the perfect blend between sloppy and well put together. My God. Thank y’all ????
