Good food option at this airport. Cheeseburger was good. The spicy chicken sandwich was great. A regular fry was big enough for two people to share. The worker Alejandro was probably the best employee there, taking orders fast, politely, and informative on our options. He was also nice and loud calling out orders. Thee only thing was that it was 1:30pm and they "were out of custard for the shakes"... ???? bummer . One burger, one chicken sandwich , one regular fry and one bottle of coke was $30.
When you see burgerfi, you expect burgerfi. I wanted some of their good fries, these aren’t them. They are frozen, battered fries. Which I hate. All the photos in the place show the real fresh burgerfi fries I have know and loved. So false advertising. Do better burgerfi, do better.
Barely anyone is waiting and the wait was 13 minutes for me, 25 for others. The teenager behind the counter blew me off when I asked him to properly fill the oreo shake - I’ve been going to burgersfi for years and I’ve NEVER seen one this low, wasn’t even offered whipped cream then or before. The oreo is $7!!! Unbelievably rude and with a bad attitude. Fries also taste like nothing. Super disappointed, who are you hiring? Also nearly all the chairs are broken and aren’t level - they rock like crazy.
Burger fries and a milkshake for $28 LAUGH OUT LOUD. burger didn’t taste great 2/10, fries were good 7/10, and the milkshake was good 6/10 but it’s a workout to drink a milkshake out of those narrow paper straws. I know it’s an airport but I still can’t believe how much they charge ????
After a healthy week of eating, BurgerFi's bacon cheeseburger, side of fries and angry orchard really hits the spot. Burger was freshly made and fries were right out of the fryer.
By far the worst burger ive ever had. Would rather eat a cold McDonalds burger than pay $20 for this garbage again. Burger tasted like it had been sitting out all day and they just threw it in the microwave for a quick reheat: bread was old and hard. The $6 fires were horrible and they barely give you any for the amount they charge you. I was expecting more a of Five Guys serving for the price. Overall, worst $20 I’ve spent on food in a long time. Should’ve stuck with Firehouse. (I’ve been to several Burgerfi’s in the past and they were all very good..and then there was this one:(()
I had the most bizarre experience at the Jacksonville airport. I went to the Truly stand after I ordered my burger at Burgerfi. They had a bottle of vodka behind the bar so I asked if I could have a vodka and soda water instead of Truly from the tap. I have allergies, so I try to avoid flavor and color additives. She was a heavyset blond woman and she spoke loudly and pulled out a seltzer from her fridge. I asked if there was alcohol in the seltzer water she pulled out or if I should just get the Truly from the tap, since it was a flavored seltzer water anyway. She told me she could pour me a Truly from the tap and then add vodka. I asked if the Truly already had alcohol in it (since it seemed strange to me to add alcohol to an alcoholic beverage) and she said “I’ll pour it for you with a double shot of vodka in it.” I told her I just wanted the Truly only. She asked if I wanted food and I told her no, since I had just ordered. Then she made some comment about me being at the airport and wanting to get drunk alone “look, she didn’t even order food!” to her co-worker (who seemed to understand that I had no interest in an alcoholic beverage with added alcohol) and the other customers at the bar/stand. When I went to pay, after apologizing for any confusion, a person walking by stopped and insisted on buying my drink. I protested and she insisted. I presume because she heard the employee loudly talking stuff about me, even to my face. I had planned for my husband and 2 children to join me at the 4-top I secured next to the stand/bar, but she kept loudly talking stuff about me to other customers. Mean stuff about me wanting extra alcohol and getting drunk. Very strange stuff. I was trying to tune it out, but I didn’t want my kids to meet up with me and hear her saying such awful things about their mom. Once they called my name for my burger, I took my food and sat at the table to wait for my family, but the stuff talking and bullying continued - loudly. I ended up leaving. As a woman who is almost 50, I’ve never experienced this type public vitriol from a woman older than me - ever. It was a very bizarre experience. Burger was good and Burgerfi service for food was great. Maybe stay away from this employee for a positive experience.
JAX international Airport is so depressing. No bars or good restaurants including Burgerfi. Of all things they could have put here, they put that. Absolutely the worst burger I have probably ever had for 12 dollars. I remember my school cafeteria having better burgers. As much as I travel in and out of this airport I will never stop there again. Buyer beware! Don't waste your money!
