No issues with the food, no issues with the staff, but 1 star because management is unable to hire enough staff to run the place according to the hours listed. I work nearby and have tried to dine in innumerable times, but the lobby is almost always closed, despite the hours listed on the door saying open lobby until 8pm. I have spoken with staff about this and they claim they don't have enough people to keep the lobby open. The franchise owners need to stop being greedy and offer competitive wages or change their signs to reflect the reality of the situation. Until then, I'd recommend Tandoori Slice or the Popeye's next door, because at least their lobbies are open, even if they're more expensive.
The breakfast sandwiches are so much better than McDonald's. This is a new location close to Des Moines which is great because all we really had before they opened a Red Robin and Jack in the Box.
The place is poorly staffed and sorely underprepared. The person hiring for this place needs to look for a new job because they suck at staffing. The doors are routinely locked throughout the day when I am picking an order. Then i have an infuriating wait in the drive thru for 20-30 minutes at times. As a whole the absolute non adherance to open lobby hours and the lackadaisical attitude, especially from one specific female employee, is staggering. Not trying to call anyone out, but every time she mans the window, it is routinely slow and there is little communication between her and other staff.
I don't know what kind of lackluster service that you want to call that what I received at the drive thru window but I felt like I was going in slow motion and just was in a bad motion picture of non-customer service.
Then I paid and got handed this slop in a wrapper. This is not "have it your way". Gone are the days of Burger King's signature flame broiled burgers. The piping hot fresh burger that you can feel through the wrapper. The fresh ingredients that bun that stays on the burger instead of breaking apart once you touch it.
Gone are the days where the service with a smile. We should have robots serve us.
Giovanni was awesome ????. Greeted us took our order and delivered it to us. He made it a great experience. It was very clean.
No issue with food but I work across street and I come here sometimes drifting lunch break and again my lunch break is finished waiting in drive through and only 1 car is a head of me. It is not the first time it’s all the time they are super slow to process it’s like cross a border waiting line. Best location unfortunately management cannot run this store properly.
A bizarre mismatch between a brand new store and an absolute inability to function. One morning, no eggs. Weird, but ok. Next time I tried, store is dark and locked at 7am. Both times, McDonalds down the street got my business ????????♀️
