Burger House is an icon of Miami AZ, Gila County, and Arizona! Whenever we head up to the White Mountains from the Valley of the Sun, we plan on stopping for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Burger House. Their food is excellent and the value is amazing! They’re especially well known for their Green and Red Chile burritos and almost everything else on their menu smothered in green or red chile. We love green and red mix burritos which have beans in them along with green Chile pork and cheese or red Chile beef and cheese. A few things you should try smothered in Chile besides the burritos are the burgers, fries, and enchiladas. If you’re feeling adventurous, ask for a fried egg on top of whatever smothered plate you’ve ordered. The delicious, oozy, yolk is a perfect compliment to the chile. Try an order of buttered tortilla chips with the house salsa too. It’s a wonderful starter. If you’re short on time, call ahead and place an order for pick up. If you have time to dine in, be sure and ask them to smother your burrito, burger, fries, or enchiladas with your favorite chile or both (Christmas Style) as it won’t come that way unless you ask.

The actual name is La Cocina de Casillas, but the food was amazing, hit the spot, but not overfilling even after finishing my entire plate. And the rice was amazing. I usually don't really go for the rice at most Mexican restaurants but it was delicious here. I had the beef enchiladas dinner plate and I loved it.
Highly recommend this place. Quick-fast eatery, Excellent food. Ordered bean burritos, they are the best for a quick lunch. Salsa is good. Although i eat spicy-er.... it was great for someone like me passing through for the 1st time. Will stop here again in the near future.

I had the green chile burrito. The burrito was very tasty, that being said it would have been better if the chile wasn't so runny. I needed to use a knife and fork to eat it. The price was good $5.00, and the meal was served quickly. I will go there again when I'm in Globe.
It's a cozy spot- though it's small inside, there's plenty of booths and tables to sit at. It's a popular spot and bustling with people eating there or getting take out. Because of that, parking can be a bit limited; there's a small dirt lot area nearby, but I would recommend parking on the nearby street parking and walk over. The cashiers were welcoming and friendly. They cook the food fresh for you, so it may take a bit of a longer wait. The burger tastes great (although a bit dry), but the salsa was a bit a off in taste. The restrooms were decently clean.
Their green chile is probably the best in the state. It was phenomenal. However, the shredded beef taco was disgusting. It was not shredded like you would normally see in Mexican food. It was like a beef paste, like you see in the tacos at Jack-in-the-Box. I will definitely be back, but they can keep those tacos.
I had not eaten here before so I stopped in for a burger. I got the green chili burger and onion rings. Awesome! this was not a pickup burger but a knife and fork burger people. Double patty sloppy cheese and green chili mix so damn good! I will be back to try something new next time. Awesome folks working there, I went in at lunch time and they were packed! but I still got my order fast. Thanks again.
