I found this spot randomly while walking around and decided to get a burger and fries (I had gotten a coffee across the street but they have drinks like Mexican Coke)
It was so good and so reasonably priced. The order of fries is so big!
Anyway, I would recommend for sure.
I gave a 4/5 for atmosphere because it’s a bit small if you’re with a super large group but they do have a few tables outside.
A hole in the wall burger spot in downtown LA in the garment district. The area is sketch to say the least. It's literally blocks away from skid row. That being said, it's a diamond in the rough. A hidden gem. The outside decor is pretty cool, looks like street art. Good idea since everything building in the area is tagged up, lol. The burgers are great. I had the treffle burger, it's three Angus beef patties covered with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, mushrooms and a truffle sauce on a sesame seed bun. The flavor was good, very meaty, tender, juicy, with cheese dripping off. One of the best all meat burgers I've had in a while. The price wasn't bad either, just $12-13 a burger. The down side is it's location, mainly cuz of the difficulty of finding parking, but that's downtown. If your in the area, and looking for a delicious savory meaty burger. I would definitely check this place out.
If you're a burger person... this is a place you need too come too.... They're making your food fresh to order.... everything is awesome... you're getting Bang for your buck and quality... check them out .... you won't be disappointed
I got the district burgers combo which was like 18 bucks and this thing was loaded had a hamburger patty with cheese , bacon,sauce,grilled onion , pastrami ,chili,pickles, and topped with a egg the way you like it ..I opted for over easy and this thing was massive, fries were crispy and everything was fresh .. so why 4 stars and not five? bacon could be more crispy and I like lettuce in my burger plus I like fountain drinks and not just 1 can with my meal.its in a ok area For LA but surrounding area is sketch. I'd go back if I was in the area . staff was great and let you know food is fresh so you may have to wait . also, seating is very limited .
Great service, food was sooooo good. Shrimp was nice and juicy. Surf and turf and the double burger. Fries could've have been better. Will be back
Second time here. First time was great. Came back today after several months...what a waste of 45$! My husband is throwing up the burger he ate as I write this. We didn't complain but the food was sub par! Weird flavor profile...ordered regular cheeseburger. Disappointed, since I've been wanting to go back for months!
Wowowow this place is amazing. Food is so good. Great Sized burger. So flavorful and the staff is so nice and welcoming. My bf got the Surf and Turf and I got the District burger. Parking is a little hectic around the area but doable. Such a cozy place. Will definitely be back to try other burgers.
First time try this, price is sooo good, portion is good enough for us, service is good too! You can definitely be “Fries District”, the fry is soooo good, even when it gets cold.
