I enjoyed the Carytown and Short Pump locations, but the waitress at this location (bar) seemed put out that I was there. I wanted to order more but really couldn’t wait to leave. First time at this location , probably not returning , to the delight of at least one employee, I would expect.
The food is garbage. Something changed with this restaurant that ruined the food. This restaurant used to have the biggest and juiciest burgers with an overflowing amount of fries. Now, the burgers are small and the patties are sad cookie cutter shaped and obviously frozen. The appetizer menu is now lacking. This place is overly priced now for the fast food quality trash. We ordered oysters and one of them came questionably dry looking. Do not eat here.
We were starving after a decent day of disc golf and needed some place that would allow dogs and had gluten free options. We found this place and realized that we had been to their Durham, NC location and loved it!
They had a small outdoor patio where we could sit with our dog. One of them turned on the heaters, which was really helpful, as it was cold and windy. Some of the plastic patio windscreens would be even more helpful here though. As the wind was pretty biting. We would have stayed longer and probably gotten another drink or 2 if that was the case.
But, overall the food and service was spot on!
The spinach dip and fries are to die for. I got the vegan black bean burger (which is gluten free) on a lettuce bun and it was fantastic! My spouse got the gluten free bun on his burger and loved it.
If you haven't checked out this place yet, I think it's simply a must.
Stopped in on a a Friday night shortly after 8 PM. We were seated pretty quickly and shortly afterward brought waters. The server who brought us our waters ended up being our server for the evening after we had waited a few minutes. But he ended up being great and gave a good recommendation for fry sauce (jalapeño remoulade)!
The only other time I’ve had Burger Bach was during the pandemic via a to go order and it was good. But this experience completely surpassed that one. I had the original burger (no pink) w/ had sautéed onions vs. raw onions and it was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The share fries were exactly what I was craving and I loved the sauce options we did jalapeño remoulade and truffle aioli; the remoulade wasn’t too spicy and also seemed fresh but the truffle aioli was my favorite. My boyfriend had the bourbon bacon burger, and a safe to say that he enjoyed it because I didn’t even get offered a bite lol! We’ll definitely be coming back!
I had 2 very nice meals at Burger Bach. They have so many food options besides burgers. My veal was excellent. The macaroni and cheese was excellent and the portion size was large as well as tasty, so I felt I was getting a good deal. Two weeks later, I returned and had a Southern hamburger. That was an excellent burger, too. Call before you go, to dine in so you can get a table faster.
Eh. 4 people over 100.00 before tip for burgers.
Sat down. We got water. No refills offered all meal. Barely saw waitress. Ordered extra sauces to try. They forgot one...had to wave my arms to ask for it. Was then asked which one...I don't know. They aren't labeled and all 3 were white. Husband offered no refill on his beer.
Just blah.
Daughter thought burger meat was tasteless.

We’ve been going for years but the last two times we’ve ordered it’s been disappointing at best. The most recent time I decided to try the chicken burger, and while I’m aware chicken thighs have a different color than cooked breast meat, this is still not ok. I took a couple bites before realizing the texture just wasn’t right and was horrified by what I saw.
I’ve been here many times. Really wanted to love this dinner. daughter was home from college And she requested this place. Service was mediocre at best. They switched servers in the middle of our meal. Dinner came out reasonable, but french fries were cold and My Lamb burger was undercooked . More than that, it was just a general sense of staff, being irritated and innatentive. This is a high-end burger place, and they just need to do better. I was always happy to go here and pay more because of the quality of the food and really good service. They will figure it out.!
