AMAZING food! Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, it's ALL amazing n fairly priced! We had breakfast there n it was only $8.99 for the breakfast I got, which was pancakes, eggs, sausage n toast. There was so much food, I had to take some of my pancakes home ???? everything was hot n fresh off the griddle, server was very friendly n checked in on us to make sure everything was good. I absolutely love this place! It's so cozy feeling, I just love it!
This is supposed to be bacon wrapped filet Mingon w/ sautéed mushrooms and lobster w/ tater tots. This steak whatever it is, has a tendon going through it, that's the white area. My wife and grandsons meal was very good but not mine. This was there Special for tonight. The deep-fried asparagus was very good. They took $20.00 off my bill but still charged me for the meal I didn't eat!!! This was the 2nd time I had bad food delivered to me of which I didn't order. No mushrooms w/ the steak either. I'M NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN!!! YEEEEPP YEEEEPP
We went to dinner for our anniversary and were greeted by the owner with such kindness. He waited with us until our table was ready. Chatted a little, then sat us at our table. We ordered the bone in ribeye and fish fry. It was so good. Cooked to my order and was so tender that it practically melted in my mouth. Thank you for a nice, quiet evening.
We stopped at Bungalow Inn for dinner Friday night. Food was good…had fish and fries…prime rib (was okay)…and shrimp. Service was slow, other servers noticed and stopped by to check on us, they saw our bill sitting there waiting to be picked up and ended up taking it for us. Not a high deal.
This is one of my favorite sit down restaurants to eat at in Manistee. There aren’t many places to eat at so if you are looking for somewhere to go then this is the place. The food here is always amazing but the service is always hit or miss. I have had decent service here and I’ve for sure had really bad service. The atmosphere is pretty nice because it is usually older couples or families who are out to dine. The breakfast here is great! It is fairly priced and you get a lot.
The t.v.s were all muted, that was fantastic. It was busy but not too loud for a conversation. We shared a 16oz prime rib meal and had just a little leftover. It was absolutely delicious. The server was great, came just often enough and was professional, warm, and kind.
Was very disappointed with the service. We was celebrated our 49th Anniversary. We ordered prime rib, Large cut for my husband and the small cut for me. which was delicious, but we ordered mushrooms to go with our prime rib. When the waitress brought us deep friend mushrooms, we told her we didn't deep fried we wanted saturated mushrooms. She told us that is not what we ordered. So we got changed for 2 orders of deep fried mushrooms. And extra $16.00.
I had gone past Bungalow Inn many times and finally decided to stop in with a group of friends. We waited for about 5 minutes at the hostess stand and were not acknowledged, even though a couple employees were talking and playing on their phones nearby. We ended up sitting at the bar because there happened to be open spaces. As soon as we sat down a waitress rushed over and asked if we wanted to move to a table. We decided to stay at the bar since we were already there.
Once seated, our waitress was fairly efficient in getting our orders in and explaining the menu to us. I decided to get the New York strip steak special and it arrived as ordered. Somebody else in our party ordered prime rib and it came over cooked. It was remade, but we had already finished by the time the new prime rib was served.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal, but being ignored at first was not a very good first impression. I would like to try this restaurant again and see if it can earn a higher review rating!
