I went out of my way a little bit to go to this place cause I do love hotdogs. I was not disappointed as everything was fresh and tasty. Nothing exotic about it, but it was good and filling.

It looks like it’s been here for a long time has a lot of room inside to set and a good selection on the menu. Parking lot looks like it could be a little tight once I get more than two cars in

I stopped by the drive-through and ordered a Chicago Dog. Rain was pouring down. The order was brought and included complimentory fries. It was delicious. The sport peppers were spot on. Loved it

I went to Bugsy's Chicago Dog for the first time. The elderly gentleman working the front counter was very friendly and professional. I ordered five Chicago style dogs, which came with a huge pile of fries. The food was great! It was like being at a ballpark. The prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend giving it a try. Help support this 'mom-n-pop' business.

I was so hungry that i didnt get any pictures of the food. Juicest hot dogs and philly steaks around. If you love Chicago and you want a little taste of it i definitely recommend. 10/10

Fantastic Chicago style food here in Mt Vernon. Loved the Chicago dog, the chili dog, the Italian beef and especially loved the fresh hand cut fries. Will be back.

Won’t knock the place too bad. Foods always good, if you have the patience and understanding boss that lets you wait around for over 30 minuites for your food (even small orders). Ordered a gyro fry and baklava when I arrived there was a table of six men waiting for food as well during that time the man (whom I will say is a one man show) served two walkins ahead of starting the order. Good food seems stretched thin and could use Atleast one employee to split the stress load. However mom n pops are kinda like this so know what you are getting. Amazing food and personality though for sure. Just a confusing process to handing out and dealing with orders

Best Chicago style food in Southern Illinois hands down! They got it all, Chicago dogs, Italian beef, gyro, pizza puffs and so much more! A1 service, always!

Best place for a Hot Dosg, and you have to get their Gyros, 2 places in Mt. Vernon, this guy is #1. don't forget to add feta cheese! I visited and worked in major cities that have authentic Gyros, and this is about spot on!
