Restaurant review time… Today we went to Buffalo Wild Wings in Milledgeville to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Pip and I both got a bacon burger. They came out wrong the first time…fully loaded which is not what we ordered. The waiter seemed confused, like he didn’t want to take them back and told us it would take a while to fix them if we wanted them remade. Mistakes happen, so no problem. We just wanted what we ordered. Phillip is a little more picky than I am and told him twice only meat, bacon, cheese and pickles on the side. No sauces or anything extra. The second time they came out plain but loaded with bacon mayo on both of them and no pickles. Pip absolutely hates mayo. I don’t mind it (and it was actually pretty tasty since it was bacon-infused). Pip flagged down our waiter and told him he couldn’t eat it and again, that he ordered it plain. He took it away and seemed frustrated. A few minutes later the manager came over with the burger he sent back and a horrible attitude and tried to say we ordered the burgers wrong. She said we should have ordered a different burger and just added bacon to it. No apologies or “how can we fix this” or anything. I told her they came out wrong the first time. She got mad and started getting loud and said there was only one other person in the kitchen other than her and that she made them. Someone at our table spoke up and basically told her that she had no right to talk to us like that and then she got even more angry and took Pip’s burger away and as she was walking away she yelled that she would just comp our meal. We never asked for that. We just wanted what we ordered. Pip had already taken all of his meds and couldn’t even eat and he has to take most of them with food. My burger wasn’t totally right but looked mostly ok so I was going to eat (and pay for it) once I finally got the mustard that I had asked for earlier. I took one bite and it was raw and mushy. I don’t mind a little pink but the patty was barely warm and I like ground beef cooked at least medium-well. I could not eat this. ???? What is wrong with people these days?! It seems like customer service no longer exists most places. That manager was horrible and no one once apologized. We also had issues with our appetizer and there were problems at our table with other people’s food. We haven’t been here in forever and probably won’t be back anytime soon.
We arrived with a large party (13, half kids). We sat on the patio and asked if the fans can be turned on (they were on extremely slow). Took 30 minutes to get a beer, 45 minutes for one person in our group. We received silverware as we were done, after asking when the food came 45 minutes prior. We received ranch as we were asking for boxes, which we asked for when we put in our food order. Napkins came as we were boxing up our food after being there for a rough 2 hours. The restaurant was maybe at 50% capacity. The waitress was obviously short handed so she was tipped accordingly, but we watched our beers sit at the bar for a solid 20+ minutes. We asked if we could just grab them ourselves, was told no due to rules. After several reminders about the fans (it was hot outside), they never got turned up for the entire 2 hours. They need to get more staff to prevent over-working the couple waitresses that were there. I will not be returning for a dine in. This was not the first time service has been bad here, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant.
Food was ok but the service not so much. There was no one to greet or seat us when we walked in. Finally, the lady who was cleaning up came and told us she'll go find someone to help us. So, we seated ourselves and waited for our waitress. Being it was lunch and quite busy, they only had 2.5 waitresses (one was training). Our waitress did the best she could considering...gave me the wrong burger but quickly rectified her error. Would be a nice place to meet up with friends (lots of tvs and a full bar) once they get their staffing up to par.
The food was very good. The waiter did not place my drink order when I ordered it. I asked for it a second time while still waiting on food and didn’t get it until several minutes after I completed my meal. The waiter did not refill drinks until we were completely empty and asked him to. I had to ask for silverware and napkins. The napkins I was given were little bitty cocktail napkins. I was eating wings drenched in sauce! All of the staff were in the kitchen most of the time. The service was terrible. Either the waiter was new and very poorly trained or just didn’t care.
The wings and beer are of course always great. tried their new Chile hatch smash burger and it was delicious ! We will for sure be back. The service was good and very attentive. We went in on a slower night so everything was pretty quick from seating to getting our food.
Only a bartender and server here working other than the kitchen staff. Had to remind the server about stuff. Beer tap showed stone ipa but it was Miller light. But the worst part was the street tacos that I didnt finish because kt was disgusting. Too much sauce without any meat in it and all onions in an overcooked soft taco shell. The chilibcon queso which is always a staple for us didnt have meat or chili in it. Very disappointing all around. Look at how muchbsauce they put in the taco. ????????
I was in Milledgeville for car repairs. I knew it would take up most of the day, so I went to Buffalo Wild Wings. I took a seat at the bar and was greeted by a cheery bartender named Tori. She was such a sweet and funny young lady. We talked and laughed, she really made my day!
This is a tiny BWW express. Pretzel bites were microwaved and disgusting. Half of the boneless wings were the size of a quarter. You would figure a large chain would have some consistency but this location is the worst BWW I've ever been to. Bartender was nice. That's the most positive thing I can say about the whole experience. Also I'm glad I got extra celery and carrot sticks, otherwise I would have paid 30$ to throw the food in the trash. Going to wing stop. I realize I'm not in Atlanta or Charleston but with a company this big there's no excuse for such poor quality. Gross to pay 30$ for some carrot sticks. Do better. Y'all have no business taking people's money for the garbage I got.
