No frills, unapologetic, they are what they are bar and grill. Cheap lunch and history for days. Reminds me of old school Colorado. The burger place your dad would take you to in the mountains. Check it out and bring cash.
Ran across a website saying this place served the best burgers in the state of Colorado… What a bold claim! Unfortunately not true.
The good:
Excellent prices
Decent burgers
Cool old timey atmosphere
The bad:
No fries. (Should be a criminal offense)
No draft beer
No lettuce, tomato, or choice of cheeses
Fairly bland

Bud's is a small place with several tables and a bar. The only food they serve is burgers - single, double (with or without cheese) with a side of plain Lay's potato chips. Soft drink refills are 1.75. The burgers are homemade and tasted great! Our server was very friendly and efficient. The decor is from an earlier time in Colorado, which we loved. They have a small restroom. I heard they can be quite busy close to noon so we went later and we got a table right away.
They have the best hamburgers around and a great value!
You could go to the sandwich shop next door and spend a fortune for a tiny sandwich or just go to Buds and get a much better deal at a much better price. Highly recommended.
Great little (tiny?) neighborhood bar with a menu so short you’ll memorize it on your first visit. Just don’t try to order fries. Very patriotic owner always tries to do something extra for Veterans and first responders. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended.
Great old school small town bar. I could tell a lot of folks knew each other here. Great place to get a burger. I had heard the hype and thought I would finally check it out. Wasn't my all time favorite bar burger but it's up there for sure! This is a place I'll come back to for a good ol simple bar burger.
People go here for nostalgia. they’ve got limited space and a ton of people trying to get from my visit the customer base are rude and impatient. Burgers were good but the main marketing is the affordable prices. Good people trying to maintain an ideals of yesteryear.
Cool pre-ADA tiny little restrooms with a view. Very clean like the rest of the restaurant.
