Buckman’s came highly recommended by close friends — they didn’t disappoint. Great customer service, they got my car in quickly, and it was completed when promised. And I felt the price definitely was fair.

I had some damage repaired (dents, deep scratches) and the car looks great. You can’t tell anything ever happened. I’ll certainly be recommending Buckman’s to my friends, too!

Sprayed primer all over the undercarriage and exhaust of my car. Was told the would cut out bad area of metal and replace. They instead used a glob of body filler and painted it. Found dusty fingerprints on my glove box?? I will NEVER AGAIN take my car there nor should any one else!

Brought my Volkswagen there for an insurance claim after the last time I took it to 5 star and wasn’t happy I figured I’d give Buckman’s a shot. After dropping the car off they told me I need to come up and look at it because 5 star painted my car the wrong color. I thought it was just new paint vs old paint and it never bothered me come to find out it was the wrong color flake which Buckman’s pointed out with flashlights etc. Buckman’s did a great job on the body work and any issues I had they got corrected for me. It was a smooth process and easy communication with them and I got my car back looking better than before. They even detailed it for me! Def recommend Buckman’s you won’t be disappointed!

The front desk staff worked with us to get our van repaired while we were on vacation. The service was great and the body work was perfection. The price quoted was very reasonable and competitive.

I am one not to write reviews at all. However, the professional service we received from Buckman’s needs to be recognized. We thought we could not fix the sunroof rust that our 2010 Ford Fusion was demonstrating on the exterior. The the various assessments we obtained said it was not worth fixing or the price was over whelming. Buckman’s was the only one that not only said it was fixable but gave us two different approaches to achieve it. Both options were financially feasible. Rust is a terrible enemy to have in a car especially at and in the sunroof of a car. They informed us that it’s not a 100% guarantee but all will be done to achieve the best outcome. The crew executed just that and beyond in my opinion. The work done was impeccable and returned the car clean with no trace that it was just in a bodyshop. Thank you Buckman’s for taking such good care of our vehicle. You extended the life of our vehicle and we are so grateful .

I requested a quote for parts and labor for a bumper replacement; I accepted their quote offer and brought my vehicle within 2 weeks of the quote/appointment being issued. Immediately after I dropped off my vehicle, I got a telephone call that they had to raise the price from ~$800 to ~$950 because the parts had become more expensive. I argued that this defeats the point of a quote; a quote is an agreed upon price for a service, as long as it is within the quote time period. They simply whined a great deal about how it’s not their fault that parts are so expensive, pandemic makes things hard, blah blah blah. They broke their agreement for a quote; either they do not understand what a quote is or they are thieves. If they had looked at the price of a bumper the day before I brought the car in, I would completely understand; the fact that they waited until I had already dropped off my car to even check what the cost would be is unprofessional.

Furthermore, they did not actually get the parts in anticipation of the agreed upon repairs. They waited 2 full days to actually receive the part they commissioned. In total, it took 4 full days to put a bumper on a car AFTER I gave it to them.

Additionally, they did not telephone me about when my car was ready. I had to call them to ask for a status update, and informed me it was ready whenever.

I will never do business again with this group.

It is one of the best body shops in Melbourne. Great body repairs.

This place broke my wife’s heart. Do not take your car to this place. She trusted Alex, the owner, to refurbish her 71 corvette. When the hauler picked up the car he was told the car didn’t run. This is how my wife found out the car isn’t drivable. When we got the car, the paint job is horrible, even chipped by the door lock. The hood doesn’t fit correctly. They did not put an exhaust system back on the car nor did they flush the fuel tank and hook that up. This is why the car doesn’t run! He also told my wife that he doesn’t trust the transmission. What the heck does that mean? I wish I knew how to post pictures here. I could go on and on with the issues on this car. It is sad this is the quality of product this shop puts out. Stay away from this place, I wish I could give 0 stars! Total hack job from this place.

Response to the owners comment: You were not paid because you promised the car would be finished by Christmas 2 years ago “or it is free” remember? Or are you going to lie about that too? You never told my with you would only do body work, you accepted the job in the transfer of business. So people reading this, you be the judge, I have no reason to lie about the workmanship this garage puts out. Do business with then at your own risk!
