Great food! Definitely over priced, but we were happy and impressed, which is all I need. I didn't know this place existed, so I'm happy to see such fine dining in Elgin. The server was very nice. The wine was great, the steak was perfection. I wouldn't get the au gratin again, but the creamed spinach was amazing. We went at 7pm on a Friday night and beat the rush. Not overcrowded though.
I had the 12oz lobster and it was cooked perfectly. A bit too expensive but a world better than the food they used to serve in the buffet. I like having a good restaurant as the alternative and Buckingham's fits the bill.
Classic steakhouse vibes, great service and food. $120 for dinner for 2, we did not have any cocktails. I had the NY strip she had Filet both cooked perfectly. I love that the sides are included, we will definitely be back often.
Tonight my family of three went to dinner for Christmas Eve and the food was remarkably horrible! I had salmon and it was so salty I could only eat half of the meal and other family had steak that had so much fat they spent half the meal trying to chew while putting the fat on a plate. The salad had no dressing and the mushroom appetizer had no taste. I can only describe this dinner as a disaster and by far the most tasteless food I have ever had. I should add that my family has been here before for wonderful, delicious Christmas Eve dinners but something has gone wrong with their cooking now. Please get back to the 5 star restaurant you used to be!!
I was there ön Fri Már 8th at the steakhouse I have never had a meal so bad. First the waitress needed a lesson in friendly customer service she has such a dry conversation. We ordered our filet mignon med well. It was fully cooked my niece opted to keep hers I sent mine back. The waitress asked if she could have my steak and leave my baked potatoe on my plate. Her compromise was to have my filet butterflied so it could cook faster. I stated absolutely not I didnt t originally order it thyat way and I did nit want it to be replaced any different than my original order. We left my nieces meal and I picked mine up later at that point I only retrieved it because she had to pay even though we didn’t eat it. However, Outback was definitely so much better in every way. I will never eat there again. The casino overall has gone downhill.
Cold potatoes, rock hard carrots, steak was tasty. But not appreciating the food poisoning I have today. It was the only food I ate yesterday. Oh and the service stunk. Not fine dining at all unless you don't understand fine dining.
Good place to have steak, but staffs are rather unkind. We enjoyed dinner.
Worst EVER we went in to eat I wanted a steak and my husband wanted a burger we were told the dining is for steak only so we had to eat in the bar area so we sat and not busy but we sat there for almost 15 min I asked who is going to come to serve us 2 bartenders and still no one when there were only 3 customers. We enjoyed the casino part but DISAPPOINTED at this steakhouse and finally we left!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE
