I Started going to this Shop back in March of 2017 and I have been a customer since. I was very shocked by the prices, and the service is always professional, and kind. I really appreciate the guy at this shop and all they bring to low income families. May God continue to Bless you and your family as you Bless others.
The oil change was perfect, the tire service was not. This guy said he checked my slow leaking flat tire and said there were no nails and he tightened the valve and fixed it. He did not. It has a nail. He didn’t want to give the time to me to bother to tell me the truth. I will never go here again. ????
My son recommended Buccaneer Auto. They specialize in transmission repair and do inspection stickers and auto repair. They are replacing my rear brakes and just called to inform me that the cylinder was leaking brake fluid and if i wanted it repaired. I do. The guys are very friendly and know what they are doing. Their prices are very reasonable. One thing is they always want you to buy the parts and thry will do the repair so there is no mark up on parts as other repair shops may do. If you go don't fear their pit bull female dog. She is a rescue and looks mean but she is a sweetheart of a dog. I have been going there for my automotive needs and will continue even though they are eight milds away. I really trust them and highly recommend them. Now if you already have your own mechanic then by all means stick with them. But if you're shopping for a new shop check out Buccaneer Auto on Morgan street. I feel you will be pleased. They conversed with been very knowledgeable towards the mechanical work to be done and stated all labor cost for da work asked for, thereof..Described in detail all parts needed and all required labor, been itemized to be collected...with Warranty for all work done on the vehicle, Great Job.. So I took my truck to have the transmission rebuilt. I was quoted $1250 and the transmission was posed to be rebuilt . I dropped it off on a Saturday they told me it should be done by Friday it is now Thursday the following week. They broke my transmission housing..said that it was broken before hand. I took my trucks transmission to a welding shop and the guy at the welding shop told me that it was a fresh break that they dropped it . The welding repair cost me another $150 and I'm getting nothing but the run around from the transmission shop. Now they told me that I won't get a warranty on my rebuilt transmission even tho I was told at the beginning that I would get a 1 year 12000 mile warranty. He insisted I buy a new transmission casing which is going to cost me $200 plus he wants to charge me another $450 on top of what he already ready charged me to take all the stuff out of the broken transmission and put it in the new casing. Though it is the job of the transmission shop when rebuilding the transmission to clean and check for all stress point ,cracks, anything that might be damaged before the rebuild. They didn't and rebuilt the transmission anyway. When I called to check on my truck he said that there was a hairline crack in the tail end of my transmission. I wish I had another vehicle to drive but I don't and so I have to take it like this. They offered no help in trying to find a replacement casing and no help in finding a shop that could fix the break they caused. I had to use my wife's car to transport the transmission back and forth to the welding shop even though the welding shop was less than 2 miles from there shop. Please any and everybody..STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP..IT WILL COST YOU ALOT MORE IN THE LONG RUN. I should have taken it to Amaco transmission for $2200. At least I would have gotten better service and a real nation wide warranty. This place deserves a negative 5 if it were possible.
These men work hard and are very professional. I always take both my vehicles there. Prices are fair enough that I can leave a fair gratuitous tip so they can have a couple of tacos for lunchtime.☺
THEY HAD MY CAR FOR 7 MONTHS TO SWAP OUT MY MOTOR I PUT IN OVER $2,000 TO GET IT BACK OVERHEATING!!! IT TURNED OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING !! IT WENT BACK IN THE SHOP I WAITED ANOTHER MONTH FOR ANOTHER ENGINE AND IT DOES NOTTTT WORK !!! & PROPERTY FROM MY CAR WAS STOLEN! DO NOT GO HERE !!!
