Catfish in the delicious poboy was obviously fresh and cooked in clean grease. The seafood gumbo also delicious, with just the right amount of spice. The windowsill by our table was rather dirty. I was glad I didn't use the toilet before I ate. Behind the seat was disgusting. Looked like the lid was never put down when cleaning.
Friendly waitress, clean restrooms, pleasant experience. The gumbo was amazing...just like grandma's.
We had fried shrimp and catfish. Both were great. The sweet potato fries were soooo GOOD!
Fried shrimp, both regular and popcorn types were delicious. Potato salad very good. Shrimp gumbo good but just a touch spicy. Not a fan of the shrimp etouffee as it was a bit too much like tomato sauce with shrimp. Husband had broiled fish served over angel hair pasta with a cream sauce that contained shrimp and crawfish...he scraped the plate clean! On the higher end price wise but portion sizes and overall good food made it worthwhile. I must add that the Cesar dressing served with my salad was not like any Cesar dressing I ever had before. It wasn't bad tasting but definitely not what I was expecting. Sweet tea was good and sweet!
For the person that works in the area and eats out most workdays this place is an acceptable change of pace for us. However nothing special here. Waitress was stayed out of the way of the table besides ordering and food runs we didn't see her much. I don't see me ever recommending this place to anyone unless they to just want a break in routine without horrible disappointment.
Advertised crawfish all the way. Crawfish were not available the day we went. They were in season and would be served later in the day, but not when we were there. Other customers were disappointed as well. Meal tasted processed and there was nothing special about it. Staff was not attentive or courteous. The restaurant was dingy and not pleasing on the inside. Would not recommend.
Seafood platter is so over priced for the amount you get. Fries are the worse fries you can get anywhere. Paid 80 dollars for possibly the worst seafood I've ever eaten. Never getting this junk again. Save your money please.
Very dark and unclean. Our menu was stuck together. The place smelled like mildew There was spider webs on our chairs. There was food on the floor even though they just opened when we arrived. Food was all overpriced. We got our drinks, then left.
Highly over priced. We we're actually looking for boiled crawfish but decided to give it a chance. Everything fried. Dining area is VERY GLOOMY! Most of food was bland to taste. My daughter had a crawfish poboy.. the crawfish tasted freezer burnt. Honestly I wouldn't have even given it one star but had to make the review!
