SO GOOD!!! We were starving for some food after hiking all morning and our expectations were exceeded! Excellent and friendly service. On top of that, the burritos are HUGE! Price completely worth it. 10-15 minute wait time. You can choose your own ingredients or chose an option from the menu. I got food coma after eating this burrito from how good it was. If you’re in the harbor area and want to eat something other than seafood, this is 100% worth your time.

We visited Bub’s Burritos new location (by the post office) in Southwest Harbor. If anything, the burrito was even better than before!!! My wife and I split a roasted pork with guacamole to sustain us after kayaking all morning. Even at that level of hunger neither of us could finish our halves. Also treated ourselves to a bright and tart fresh lemonade - so refreshing and a perfect pick me up after a too long paddle. Highly recommended!

I had high hopes for this restaraunt and I was a bit disappointed. I asked for a recommendation and the Tropical burrito was recommended (which was the most expensive burrito on the menu at $20). It's the one with shrimp and pineapple salsa. First of all, I really wish they warned you about the size of the burritos. We were just coming in for a quick lunch and had we known we would have only ordered one. They are absolutely enormous. One burrito is more than enough for 2 adults, especially for lunch. Secondly, my burrito was 90% plain white rice and black beans. I ate about 25% of it and I only got 1.5 shrimps. They were big shrimp and tasted good but the proportions were just disappointing. Most of my bites were just rice and beans. I would have preferred a smaller burrito with half the amount of rice.

They are doing some stuff right...I must say the tortilla is delicious. My partners burrito was actually much better and had a lot more ingredients in it (he ordered the burrito that had ground beef). But overall I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Bub's was a stroke of luck find on our last day in the area. The portions are HUGE, the service is fantastic and polite, and the burrito bowls are gluten free. Many questions were asked about what is gluten free and the knowledge was apparent, which was refreshing. The touch of grilling of the burrito made it ????. Not a lot of seating but it worked at the time we arrived.

Don’t sleep on this place! Incredible flavor profiles! I personally love getting my burrito as a bowl, add a side of tortilla. The grab & go empanadas are to die for… And you MUST try the Barbacoa taco!!

Be warned about Cassidy and the restaurant’s lack of accessibility. Cassidy at the counter would not let my disabled aunt to sit in a chair while we waited for our takeout. She insisted that we sit at the bar on stools despite us protesting because my aunt is not physically able to sit on a high stool like that. Cassidy said that the chairs were for service. I am so curious how we were paying customers but still not good enough to sit at a table and wait. Not to mention there were 9 empty tables and they were closing in 30 minutes. She had a horrible attitude as well. On top of that, we were charged a takeout fee! What type of business does that? We were treated lesser than every other customer even though we paid more than the sit-in customers. A piece of advice for the owner: be mindful of your ableist, rude staff members. The food was fine. The burrito has no salsa or pico in it and only about 1/4 cup of protein. I was severely disappointed and will be advising people to avoid this restaurant like the plague if they expect adequate service and food.

"I don't normally leave reviews, but oh my goodness, this place is exceptional. I ordered their beef burrito, and it's hands down the best burrito I've ever had (and I'm not even a huge fan of burritos). Every aspect of their burritos is flawless. I'm not a food critic, but I just wanted the owners to know that they serve fantastic food! Excellent job!

AMAZING! the quality is literally unmatched in southwest harbor! the homemade tortillas are the best i’ve ever had! love the flexibility of being able to build your own burrito from the freshest most authentic ingredients! the breakfast burrito is the best i’ve ever had! one of the best parts of southwest harbor!
