I recently had the pleasure of visiting Brunswick Tattoo Company for a truly remarkable tattoo experience, and I am beyond thrilled with the result!
From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The staff members were not only incredibly talented artists but also genuinely passionate about their craft. They took the time to listen to my ideas and preferences, ensuring that my vision for the tattoo was fully understood.
The tattoo artist assigned to me, James, was an absolute maestro with the tattoo gun. Their attention to detail and precision were unparalleled, and it was evident that they poured their heart and soul into every stroke. They transformed my concept of a willow tree intertwined with a compass into a breathtaking work of art that exceeded all my expectations.
The guy I talked( Sam, I believe) to seemed like a decent guy, however he decided to quote a price that was for a 4-5 hour tattoo when what I wanted would easily been able to be done in 2 hours. I have plenty of tattoos that aren’t visible. I don’t know if he was saying that rate was his normal or if he was bolstering it because it looked like I didn’t have any tattoos. He also then , began to say how he had taught people how to “half-a**” some work. That’s his right to say something like that I just didn’t like hearing that dealing with something permanent being added to my body. And when I then showed some of the work I already had he then began to criticize my current tattoos , without prompt, and saying how that guy messed up. Not what a prospective client would like to hear. I’m sure that other people in the shop are cool. That’s the main reason why I’m not giving a one star.
i absolutely loved it here, i was able to call & get a same day appointment (which i was so thankful to find a shop even accepting new clients on a sunday since that’s my only free day). madison specializes in the type of tattoo that i wanted & she executed it perfectly. she was also rather hilarious & we laughed until we cried at one point. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
I contacted this shop regarding a cover up. I was immediately responded to via their Facebook page. I was given an appointment within 3 days. I met with James, the owner. He is so very attentive and keeps you in the creative process. His detail is impeccable. His work is in a league of its own. I'm so happy with my cover up and he will definitely be my tattoo guy from now on. When James says 'you're not a customer, you're family', you will feel this in his shop.

Madison does amazing work, everyone there is really great. The art is always perfect, she really helped me come up with ideas when I needed it. The prices are well below what the art is worth. I love the atmosphere of the place, very welcoming and positive. Madison is really cool and fun to be around, so that adds to the experience. The best tattoo shop I've ever been in, hands down.
We were out of town guest that wanted to get tattoos on our trip. We walked into Brunswick Tattoo as walkins and then ended up scheduling for the next day with Cameron. The shop was very clean and Cameron was great! We will definitely be back if we are in the area again!!
