Can't actually rate this place because after travelling approx 20 miles to see if it lives up to the Popular reviews, it was closed with a bloke outside telling me to come back next week as he's just taken it over. Wish they would tell you this on the reviews.
Stopped by on our cycle trip. A lovely spot by the canal. Friendly, accomodating staff with delicious food and beers.
Great place to take a break next to the cycle lane. Good food and beer, and friendly people.
